Remember, we've had quotes from people in power that they want to build the Batfamily in movies the way they are in comics.

Can't do that AND have Batman Beyond...

And a bigger Bat family brings in more money because more movies. Batman Beyond can't match that.

Come to think of it, even the actual Affleck interviews are becoming kind of a "Are you a cop?" thing.

Reporter: "Ben, are you going to be in The Batman movie, yes or no?"

Ben: "I'd be crazy not to be Batman!"

Reporter: "So you're going to be in it?"

Ben: "It's the role of a lifetime! Who could pass it up?"

Reporter: "So that's a yes?"

Ben: "It's been nothing but a great experience so far, on BvS and JL and working with Joss."

Reporter: "Now you're just screwing with me. Are you in The Batman or not?"

Ben: "We have the best crew on these movies, it's just been so amazing."

Reporter: "C'mon. Yes or no?"

Ben: "These movies, so much work goes into them, it's incredible."

I tend to think he wants to be 100% on board with the script for it before he completely and publicly commits, but... I dunno anymore.

Wouldn't be awesome if after Marvel Phase 3 officially ends with Avengers 4, Warner Brothers and DC offer Kevin Feige millions of dollars to come rebuild their cinematic universe from the ground up?

Short of that happening, I don't think there is anything that could happen to restore my faith in WB/DC.

I might enjoy--even love--some of the movies, but as a cinematic universe, the DCEU has been DOA for awhile now.
