This week I wrote about the MMPR fan club VHS, this is something I always wanted to see and I don't think it's ever been released except maybe the exclusive DVD on the helmet box set. It's 30 minutes and you have interviews with the rangers but they're all in-character which makes this fan club VHS worth it as it tickles all the right nostalgia cords for you to love it and nice to see a high quality "secret" episode you'd never seen before. I think it fits in continuity before Alpha's Magical Christmas since only then does the "jr ranger" comments make sense and that they know the rangers identities

Isn't Korean Power Rangers just translated Super Sentai with the PRs branding?
Still cool but not really PRs getting a korean exclusive series, more of a korean sequel to the sentai.

how many Power Rangers mobile games are there? I remember there was one that came out like 4 few years ago that looked absolutely amazing but it was slooow and the gameplay sucked.

Yeah, it's a sequel to Korea's dub of Kyoryuger (Dino Charge's sentai) which was dubbed under the name Power Rangers Dino Force (since Wild Force, Korea just decided to dub Sentai, but kept the name. I mean contractually they are the same.)

I forget most, but Gokaiger was dubbed Power Rangers Captain Force

It's a mobile game. Not sure what you're really expecting from a mobile game.

A bad game is a bad game when it's playable. Amazing how we can all judge how a game will be from a few seconds of gameplay.

You can definitely judge a game from a few minutes of game play, it's not a movie we're talking about.

And just because it's mobile game doesn't mean it has to be bad or that we need to have low expectations. There's plenty of great mobile games including licensed ones. Fighting games and mobile just don't work well, I love the idea of rangers fighting each other but not like this.


anyway on another note I've been seeing a lot of marketing for this movie. seems they have some faith in it.

Yes, it is a sequel to Kyoryuger. Toei has it listed under as "Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave"

It will be 12 episodes, each 15 minutes long.

Here's a Power Rangers edit I made attempting to fuze elements of “Vrack Is Back”, “The Wrath” and “Legendary Battle” into one story.

As of this writing, the edit I’ve managed is the standard length of one PR episode. It’s not perfect, but I think I have a good outline of where to go. Here’s my blueprint

-Removed Orion being captured and used as a power source
-Removed Roboknight being a prisoner of Vrack and turned against The Rangers
-Removed All Moments and Referenes to the Legendary Keys Being Turned to Stone
-Removed Orion being rescued by Roboknight from the Aquatic base as well as any mention of Roboknight dying, so when he turns up for the Legendary Battle, his exchange with Troy makes more sense
-End the episode on the Rangers saying goodbye to Orion as he leaves in an Armada ship. The bit where he looks at the team photograph before heading off into space is a note-perfect moment to end a series on.

At first I was pretty intimidated with how swamped I got with the “Vrack Is Back” footage, but as I watched it all the way through, I realized the footage take care of itself…the easiest solution is not to have a masterplan to create the drills in the first place…he already has them. That allowed me to remove pretty much 90% of “Vrack is Back”. I had to do some slight tinkering with audio from part one and applied to the part two footage, but it came together nicely.

Man do I miss team ups, they really made Power Rangers special to me and I think that's what really got me back hardcore into PRs instead of it just being a cool "nostalgia trip" when I re-discovered them.
