but i didn't find it very memorable or would want to ever read it again. so i don't really miss her not being Oracle. plus i also found Oracle's presence in the big events like 'No Man's Land' pretty unbelievable. realistically she would have been either killed or further injured? it took me right out of the story. i agree about James Jr being ruined as a character! there was NO need to do that other than some 'Hot Shot' writer just trying to be edgy and gritty and make a name for himself. New52 destroyed MANY characters besides just Helena, Cassandra, and Stephanie. Tim Drake became a joke. he wasn't even a Robin. he became RED Robin as they gave him one of the worst origins in Teen Titans #0. not to mention how bad they ruined Lobo, Darkseid, Superman, and one of the BIGGEST fails was Wally West. they had to have Geoff Johns do one of his miracle Mary Sue Fan Fictions to magically pull a Wally West out of his $%&!!

i just really hope they do Jay Garrick proper justice, and don't pull one of their 'attention-seeking' reboots for him.

Eh, Jay Garrick has never been my favorite speedster. But then, I didn't care about Flash until the CW show, so I'm by no means an authority on any speedsters who aren't Barry Allen.

Batman Annual
Pretty meh. Bunch of unimpressive short stories. Harley story by Dini and Adams was nice (trying to get Bruce to sing along to Christmas jingles in the Batmobile), but other than that, pretty blah. Also Ace the Bathound is back. Superman Annual MUCH better. One whole story and it actually delivers on some answers while setting up more mysteries. Swamp Thing even ingests Clark at one point. |

pretty sure it was just a Mud-Room simulation?
yeah, she needs to grab her buddy Harper Row, and the two of them can ride off into the sunset together.

i've given up reading that garbage.
it's amazing how many people have been lulled into thinking Tom King is actually a good comic writer. i thought it might be that he was just a bad writer for Batman, but i tried reading the first issue of his Sheriff of Babylon and found absolutely nothing that made me want to read the next issue. bunch of mindless sheep blindly following the hype train.

he might try to toss in pointless nods to classic Batman stories or movies, but it doesn't feel genuine to me. his attempts to pander feel more like fan fiction. i just didn't find it very entertaining. now Tomasi's writing on Superman, that's been extremely awesome! he's been letting Pat Gleason share in the writing duties more. i wonder if he's grooming him to take over writing for Superman once the 'Super Sons' series launches?

Batman
Splash pages everywhere as a love letter Bruce has written to Selina is read out and Bruce fights his way into Bane's dwelling, and kneels before him, Selina, and Psycho Pirate. That's..erm..basically it really. Superman Lois tries to get a job at her local paper (in addition to working at the Planet), but Frankenstein attacks her and the editor. Lois and the editor escape on Frankenstien's hover bike and Supes comes to their rescue. Eventually it's revealed the editor is actually someone called Krogg |

Wait...Bruce Wayne wrote a love letter? It does not zeem to be in character. On Gotham yes. Anywhere else no. What is going on with Bane and Catwoman? I havent really paid much attention to the re-relaunched Batman titles.

That Batman issue was SHITaki.
I'm done. That was it. Call me when we get to "I Am Bane", which will probably also be disappointing and filled with suck.

You both piqued my interest. Summarize what is going on if you will.

Catwoman was on death row for murdering 250+ terrorists (confirmed this is what she did, not a twist), Batman is rampaging and not being smart, and apparently he wrote Selina a sappy, wordy, verbiose love letter. I couldn't even read it, I just skimmed the last issue, saw that it is more of the same, and said "Bye Felicia." Basically, Tom King is terrible at writing Batman.
