My gut reflex was to say, "Boy, they'll try ANYTHING to get people behind him, won't they?" Buuuuut it might be true, so... if it is, that sucks. I don't hate the guy like most do.

I think it's kinda sh*tty that we even have to question whether or not it's legit, or yet another desperate gamble to trick people into liking him. Y'know?

I'll assume it's legit. Bummer.

The marks dont appreciate him until he has a health scare. It was nice to see the crowd on his side. I enjoyed the heck out of the last two weeks. All the attempts to bring The Shield together and likely lasting until April. It was fun while it lasted, but the ones who were against him will now be on side when he returns. The one guy who got me to care....prayers for Joe.

They've also faked pregnancies, miscarriages, and used Reid Flair's death in an angle.

They would 100% use a fake cancer scare to force the crowd to get behind their Chosen One.

That said, in the name of humanity, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt even though they don't deserve it.

Then again... they just staged a fake Becky/Charlotte fight at the Performance Center and tried to work their own employees with it... so maybe this Crown Jewel sh*t has them in full-blown Panic Mode and they're just gonna fling anything at the wall. I could easily believe that, too.

And don't forget making Randy Orton telling Rey Mysterio that Eddie Guerrero was in hell only about 2-3 months after his death.

Hell, WWE loved to exploit Eddie's death in 2006. That's the main reason why Mysterio's WHC reign sucked. Not the fact he got beat cleanly several times.

As for Reigns... well I hope this is just WWE sinking low again, because leukemia is awful and I hope Reign does NOT have it.

Ehhhhhhh let's just say it was both of those things.

You can't effectively be "Champion" when you lose clean all the time.
