“It’s been a great partnership working with Cartoon Network and HBO Max to bring more DC Super Heroes to the platform in new and creatively interesting ways” said Sam Register, President of Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios. “This is the first animated Superman series in many years and we want to tell our Superman story through the trio of Clark, Lois and Jimmy – whose relationship dynamic will allow for rich, serialized and engaging stories as we explore their lives as individuals and their journey together as friends.”

My Adventures with Superman is produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Sam Register serves as executive producer. Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clogher are on board as co-executive producers and Josie Campbell as co-producer.

I'm not sure how I feel about the art style if that image is legit but it's great to see Superman finally getting another shot at an animated series.

Who is the cute girl with the short hair?
Is it Lois? Is she brown in this series and a tomboy or is it a different character?
It's hard to make superman relatable, but when done right he's awesome, I don't have much faith but glad we're getting another superman show, last was the"young" Superman and the Legion of Superheroes cartoon which I actually really enjoyed, could've been better but it was still cool.

I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later, it just has less priority than BTAS/JLU/BB etc. Static Shock and Zeta Project likely won't be as lucky.

I hate that Batman gets a more serious show and Superman gets stuck with this. Blah.

IDK, like, back then nerds and geeks and whatnot were not what I would call 'manly' but I mean, it was clear they were straight. This version of Jimmy looks like he's be trying to jump on Clark rather than Lois.

They've been trying to make Jimmy gay in a mainstream iteration for a while now. He was originally supposed to be explicitly gay in "Superman Returns" before the backlash to that news came out - "It was a different time", so such things were pushed back hard against rather than celebrated by default - and so they danced around it (a "compromise" was having him hug a guy at the bar after the plane rescue scene and otherwise not having him display any attraction towards anyone at all). And then in the All-Star Superman animated movie they had Jimmy come to work wearing a dress and heels, and when Lois and Clark ask him if he's working undercover on a story or something he just says "Nope!" and then they just move on like nothing happened.

Making him black in some of the other media was at one point in time a compromise since making him gay was "too controversial". But now he's pretty much black by default, and race-flipping has become so cliche and standard that it isn't impactful enough on its own. So now he's gotta be black AND gay.

Same way Trevor Noah got his cushy gig despite being just plain awful. He checks all the requisite boxes on the Progressive Bingo card, and that's the single most important thing nowadays.

I feel sorry for gingers. Always getting erased from modern adaptations. Ginger erasure is real, and it's not a meme. **** needs to stop.

This is why i'm so happy they went with a ginger main character in that Jedi: Fallen Order game. It's rare to see a ginger male in that kind of role anymore, since they always opt to go with a POC instead these days. (can't wait for Fallen Order 2, btw)

I wish they had moved forward with the other animated series concept instead of this. The one which would have featured Jon as Superboy. While it's not exactly my favorite artstyle, I prefer the overall vision and potential of this rather than what they decided to greenlight.

Well Superman has underwear so that's good, helps the suit look better. Jimmy Olsen has always been annoying, I think black Olsen is more interesting but he should have a different name since he's another character. The other designs are fine, just modernizing Superman, in fact the general premise of Superman is rather vintage and hard to do I can't take him seriously in 2021 as with most traditional superheroes. They really should be left to die and come up with new ones that were come up with in the last 30 years. They had a good run bust most of DC heroes are just from another era. Same with Marvel but at least their heroes are from a few decades later so their age hasn't shown as much.

Kind of disappointing to me, I was expecting a traditional kids action cartoon. We haven't had a Superman cartoon since S:TAS, so I was hoping for something along those lines even if more kid friendly. Or something like Justice League Action.
