This show's really picking up with all the story plots forming. I'm very intrigued to see them reveal what those aliens want with Mon-El.

Does Mon-El feel like a Superman expy to anyone else? His actor would have made a good Clark Kent/Superman too.

Outside of the love interest angle, he pretty much fills the same role Superman would if he stuck around. I know why they didn't do that because this is Supergirl's show and if he stuck around she would feel like the sidekick, but still.

Can someone explain how this show is connected to the Arrowverse?

I know at first they said they weren't connected but then they did the crossover and they were alternate universes but now that the show is on the CW is there any other connection? Seems silly for the arrowverse not to have their own version of Superman/girl and they can always do a whole "universes merged" angle.

It's set on Earth-38 within these shows' multiverse. Not really much there that needs explaining.

I'm willing to bet that's exactly what they plan on doing within the next year or so. It'll basically be a TV version of "Crisis on Infinite Earths", and I for one would love it if they took this as an opportunity to incorporate not just Smallville and other previous versions of Superman, but maybe even the old Adam West version of Batman and Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman.

Huh... just the other day I was wondering what Kevin Sorbo was up to.... That's 2 former cast members of "Andromeda" in the Berlanti-verse (Lexa Doig being Talia in "Arrow") now.

I was really hoping they kissed. One of the best lesbian pairings, tumblr is going crazy over it.

This is the only reason I watch this show.

Supergirl is cool loved Mr.Mxyzptlk but I am starting to thing Sanvers is starting to slowly take over the show like Olicity did around the 3rd and 4th Season of Arrow.

I found it to be a pretty mediocre and sappy episode. Mxyzptlk didn't impress me much either. Was hoping we'd get to see a CGI version of his classic design.
