Harley Quinn movie in the works

Quote:
In an interesting twist, the project is not a Quinn solo movie. Rather, it would focus on several of DC’s female heroes and villains, with names such as Batgirl and Birds of Prey surfacing.

I'll watch it. I don't believe it's happening, but it sounds great in theory.

Poison Ivy, Barbara Gordon, maybe Dinah Lance...

Nah. Although I'm not convinced Babs will have working legs in this movie...

Harley is immensely popular, her ongoing is one of DC's best sellers. Plus Margot Robbie, so yeah it could work.

Too bad the DCFU is so fundamentally flawed.

I'd be down for this, so long as it was in the vein of B:TAS, where it was fun and not depressingly dark. But of course that wouldn't happen.

Hopefully it would be better than that cancelled TV series from the early 2000s...with Dina Meyer as Oracle.

The original Harley always seemed a little more sophisticated to me than her new 52 counterpart...

Gotham Sirens? Poison Ivy will get a second cinematic appearance and so will Batgirl. However, I will be interested depending on who is under the Batgirl cowl. Is it Barbara Gordon? If not then no thanks.

I really REALLY want Poison Ivy to be done properly in live action. Barbara Gordon, too.

^ This.

So since we're getting Batgirl, does that mean we'll finally see a Robin on the big screen again?

I always wanted to see both Robin and Batgirl again on the big screen after 1997's so bad its good Batman and Robin. By that I mean Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon. While Barbara would be likely I fear we will have multiple Robins if the resurrection of Jason Todd is the focus of the Bat-fleck. Grayson is all we need.

Eh, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that, I'm afraid. Like Flash, I like the idea of the title of "Robin" being associated with the idea of a legacy hero and not just with one character. Would rather see Dick as Nightwing and Tim Drake start off as the DCEU Robin.

I want every main character from the Bat-Nipples-era movies to get properly reintroduced to the big screen. Harvey Dent and Bane already saw massive improvements; Riddler, Ivy, Batgirl, Robin, and Freeze need the same.

And we've already gone back and forth forever on Robins... I'll simply repeat that getting Jason Todd in a movie vastly increases the chances of getting Dick Grayson and Nightwing in a movie.

Harley and Poison Ivy vs Batgirl and maybe Wonder Girl, Zatanna, Artemis/Tigress, Aquagirl, Rocket, or Bumblebee.
