so...possible second Power Rangers crossover?
We all remember the infamous crossover from Power Rangers In Space with TNM (included in vol.2 of TNM). Well when Nick bought the turtles I thought how the possibility of a new crossover was now theoretically possible but never thought it would happen just that it was now more likely than before. Well Power Rangers is celebrating their 20th anniversary with the "Super Megaforce" season and this came up on pictures of the set: Now it may be nothing but the PR fandom is speculating if a new crossover could happen after all there's no Donatello in PRs besides the one that appeared in the crossover. Then again maybe they're just clearing out the bolt and it's a left over from TNM and they have no plan to use it. Why would Nick let them use the turtles? I don't know cross promotion? A deal to get rights of TNM and not having it air on the Hub?? Why would we want another crossover? Many TMNT fans grew up with both shows, both feature colored martial artists. The crossover as bad as it was and as little sense as it makes for both universes to be together still brought a smile to my face seeing the two franchises I loved crossover. Regardless of what it may be people are speculating in the PR fandom so why not here as well? it's what forums are good for after all. |

I doubt Nick wants them to use Next Mutation character suits anyway.

I don't think it's at all likely, but if I'd be game for it. I absolutely hate the Power Rangers but I really dug Next Mutation, so bring it on.

I never expected another one really but hey it is more likely today than it was 4 years ago. Also while I think the two universes couldn't be more different and don't belong together they already do at least in one Turtles universe and in the main PR Universe so they already share a universe might as well exploit it.
I don't think anything will happen but hey, that picture does bring speculation which is why I posted it here. |

If it happens it would be funny if the Turtles return without Venus.

Here's a wacky idea. Why not make the Power Rangers CGI characters?

...Those look better than the real thing actually....
There's another photo kicking about which has one of the Mystic Knights helmets too, so unless this is a massive American Toku crossover with NM, Mystic Knights, PR, Beetleborgs and V.R Troopers, I think they're just clearing the vault to see what's still usable for the anniversary. |

If the Power Rangers were CGI, it would be a crossover that happens to be an official TMNT episode (just like that TNM is officially a PRiS episode). I'd love it to be a one-hour special or a multiparter to provide plenty of time for a serious episode with so many characters involved. Too bad the first crossover didn't happen in 1994/95 with the Cyberturtles/New Mutations. We could have had the PR be animated. I'd only watch it if Shredder/the Kraang grew giant thanks to Admiral Malkor/Bigs. In terms of teaming up, I'd have Troy/Leo, Jake/Raph, Noah/Don, Gia/April, and Emma/Mike (love to see another girl crush), with Gosei/Splinter mentoring together.

If the Next Mutation suits are going to be used again, there is a chance that Venus would return as well.
I am far more interested that the suits from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger are going to be used and the concept of transforming into past rangers. It would be funny if there was a Gokai Change into the Next Mutation Turtles. Gokai Change! NIIIIINJA TURTLES!! |

That was the final episode I watched of my then #2 heroes though by then it was cheap replacements of replacements and the female turtles inclusion. So instead of the absoulte worst by far other media Ninja Turtles appearance ever getting a second go all I have to say is in this youtube clip that sums it up rather nicely.

Hey,I liked both of those. Both were corny but the turtles one was fun and enshirned on Every Thing Is Terrible's website. The Alpha 5 Christmas thing was lame but then my favorite half of the original six and Tommy in green gets a final bow. The only thing remotely close to this I hate on is the Operation Blue Line segment but that has the '87 cartoon voice cast as horrible as it is making up for it a bit. No Tommy? No Billy? Replacements and the ranger I hate the most? Venus? EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!
