I don't wanna go there, but like Batman for example is usually cast by what most people would consider handsome guys. They wouldn't cast Gilbert Gottfriend in the role even if someone dubbed his voice over and he went to the gym for a few months.

The whole point before was that Superman and Lois had already met this Batwoman so it would be a reunion. He has no idea who this new Batwoman is. Plus, what if they bother to do this crossover and then this new actress gets pissed and they have to recast Batwoman again in season 3?

And kind of a odd crossoverto begin with....say had Ruby Rose stayed on and they were able to do it. I mean, I think a crossover between Supergirl and Batwoman would've been the one to do between 2 shows only to play off their Worlds Finest moment from the Elseworlds Crossover.

Also, Flash and Black Lightning
And another small one with Flash and Superman

I mean these make more sense than say Batwoman/Superman and Lois

I'm just speaking on how the characters interacted with each other in the Infinite Crisis Crossover and from that I felt like smaller crossovers would go over well with Supergirl/Batwoman ( of course not now since Ruby Rose left) and Flash/Black Lightning. And while Superman and Flash didnt interact that much in the crossovers, I still think this one would work out well.

They kind of have to at this point. They didn't want to cancel Supergirl but that show plunked to numbers that they couldn't make a case against... and Batwoman has already "hit" those numbers now and is still sinking.
