Question about bandages.
So, I've tried sculpting bandages on my figures in the past, and they never seem to come out right. I'm just curious of any other methods used to represent ankle/wrist bandages, or of methods used to sculpt them in a more natural manner.
I'm working on 6 inch scale figures by the by. |

For looser bandages, I'll mix some Green Stuff (also known as Kneadatite) with more yellow than blue (so it's more flexible), roll it into a long, flat strip, then once it's sat for an hour or so I'll cut strips, texture them and wrap them around the figure's parts.
I've also used thin rubber sheet and cloth tape to make bandages and wraps a little easier. |

I wondered what worked better for that. I tend to use Apocie Fixit, and it doesn't survive the rolling method well enough to be used, I've never tried with Green Stuff.
I actually tried pipe rethreading tape last night. It seemed to work well with conforming to the shape of the legs well. |
