I read in an interview with pat lee online somewhere and when asked about the turtles he said that they have plans for them. So who knows what those might be
Wasn't #7 the last issue?

Yeah but they might start another series with different creators (some of speculated that pat lee may draw it), that's usually the way it works, even though I liked the team on the series

Yes it was. But look how many Transformers books they have? and warlands books...So who knows. I kinda wonder if maybe Pete and the crew should shop around a bit though. You know, feel things out before releasing anoughter toon based comic. A few one shot specials could be cool though.

Well I didn't worship him, but I did enjoy his work. My only problem with the DW comics was the crap-tacular stories. That one new character (whos name escapes me) sucked to the high heavens.

You didn't like the last 3? :trolleye:
I agree at somepoint that the first stories were poorly written, but that's not Peter Davis' fault he was tied up. But once he was released and can came up with new stories ,I think they were cool.
I would like to see new comics from DW to see how they handle them this time.
I remember the poster of the Turtlebot, that looked awesome!!

No, I didn't like the last three. I didn't like any of them actually. I was hoping it would all turn around with the Turtlebot story arc, but of course we all know what happened there.

I actually didn't like LeSean's style... I must be the only one.Yeah.. I think i see what you mean, but i think he was forced to try to stick with the cartoon style so that limited him. I mean his sketchs of the turtles on his site are amazing.

I think he did a good job of fleshing out the cartoon, gave it another dimension. But yeah the issues with that Dheeraj or whatever were incredibly cliched and boring it needed spicing up very quick

Nor do I, I liked everything, but the turtles. The first issue was fun. Gave officer Eastman some more depth.

My prob was that sometimes the action scenes were drawn way too zoomed in to give a good understanding of exactly what was going on.. very noticeable in the Casey/Raph fights. Plus the TMNT had more lines and stuff on their faces than they do on the show makin em look weirder.
The issues based on the comics were cool and given a nice twist and different outlook on the episodes, although if you didn't see the episode itself, the comic leaves alot out. Like in the Casey issue, it just ends with Casey goin home after first facing Raph, instead of the whole scene of the TMNT meeting Casey and helping him fight the Dragons.
The issues with that kid were ok, but c'mon... we got stuff like triceratons and ultrom shredder on the show. we don't wanna see raph fighting with a crazy shrink. They cancelled the comic before shredder himself even appeared. Plus, I think if they went straight for the T4 plot, the comic woulda lasted longer.

Or just... http://www.leseanthomas.com. I've had the privilege of talkin' to him a couple times, that man is seriously deep. He's like the Bruce Lee of comic art to me. Definitely one of my all time favorites. And I totally dug the DW comics, issue 5 in particular. The art and over-all look of the books has only been bested by Udon's Street Fighter comics. It seriously feels like I'm lookin' at a bunch of screen grabs from some sweet ass hardcore TMNT anime.

I loved LeSean's work on the DW series. His style has so much energy. At one point, I was very close to purchasing a sketch of Leo from his website. Sadly, someone had already picked it up by the time I e-mailed Les. Oh well. I'm just terribly sad that we'll never get to see the T4 story arc... :(

Dreamwave does not have the TMNT licence anymore. End of story. If there is another TMNT full colour comic series, it'll probably be by another company.
