On the official site, there is an mp3 available from the theme song for the new TV series.
This theme is totally different then the one from the FOXBOX
(I liked the old one better, but just check it out)

I liked the fox box one better... Well after the shock and 3 times of listening it sounds ok.

That was my first reaction too. Well atleast it has nice rythm. I still think that the fox box theme was better.

OMG THAT THEME SUCKS! I want the foxbox theme damn it!!!!! ARGH.... the fox box theme ruled! I loved the music... and now they ruin it. I'M MAD! /me turns on the original foxbox theme for some kind of relief... wait this isn't irc lol
*blinks* Wow, I didn't think the reaction would be that bad. Especially after several of you declared that the old theme was crap. As I've said, I have no ear for music what so ever so I can't tell if it's really good or not. I do like it, although I like the old one better.
With this one, I could actually see a theme sequence going along with it.

I can't even give my opinion on the theme because the download only gives me 10% of the song and then quits. After about the fifth time, I gave up.
Did any of you experience that problem? It's quite annoying, actually. :evil:

Yeah, you heard me...this new one doesn't sound as "kiddy" as the other one IMO.

Do this: Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup if you're running Win98. Make sure the "Temporary Internet Files" box is checked, and then click "OK". Problem solved.

I like the beat, but thats about it... and whats with shread head? that BETTER not be his voice in there because it sounds like a robot :dead:
Well, I think theme songs should be simple, like this new one. It sounds a bit grainy but I'm not sure if that because of the mp3 format or what.
I agree with the bit about Shredder's voice.

The only part of the original fox box theme that I thought sounded kiddy was "Now it's time for Ninja Kick Butt Action!" But everything else worked for me.

Im sure your advice works rezo, but it is as easy to just get a download manager. If you download from the internet you, you should have one. It is very usefull when you can pause and resume your downloads when you want.

I dunno how I feel about this new theme... I think it's pretty cool, but I liked the Fox Box version a lot better. Oh well. At least we're getting a new cartoon. ;)

well i think anyhing is better than the first theme, i nearly fell asleep when i heard it :sleep: . Listerning to both new ones just makes me think how good the old (80'early 90s) theme really was.

And it does sound rather weird, when compared to the first. I think the beat is a little too fast, but otherwise I could live with it. Also reminds me alot more of the COOTS music, cuase it sounds like all four of the TMNT singing.

hey you're right HT!! it does remind me of COOTS too... BLEH!!!! :dead: :dead: :dead: alas.... I hope the show is good, even if it is TMNT I don't think I would watch it. We ca't be subject of just buying into anything TMNT orienteed...

I have one problem with it tough. If there is no death, And Yoshi wont Kill Oroku Nagi, Why is Saki going to revenge him?
Well, they can say someone died, or was killed, they just can't show it, or go into graphic details. We'll just have to wait and see.

The show will be fine if they dont kiddify it too much. Seeing as how it's being made by 4 KIDS Entertainment, don't get your hopes up.

I know. But the interviews have told that they will use their weapons against living targets. My worst fear was, that it would become like the first series, no action just jokes.

My mom called me the other day and asked why the new Toys weren't on my Christmas list. I wish they would truely come out in December...
Do you guys suppose they'll be doing Turtle commercials with the new theme song starting in a few months to promote the new show? That'd be kinda funky.

Below are some sneak peaks at the new line of TMNT action figures that will be coming out around February of 2003 from Playmates Toys.
Ninjaturtles.com says February, I'm thinking mid-January myself but who knows for sure.
