What game are you currently playing?

Me.. I'm between games. I FINALLY beat Phantasy Star II, and i'm just waiting for my friend to return "Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscurna" taht he borrowed so I can finally finish it.

This could be my first time posting in this section since the forums returned.

Anyway... As far as consoles go, I'm currently playing WWE: Day of Reckoning, LOTR: The Third Age, TMNT: Mutant Melee, Disney's PK: Out of the Shadows (for my boy), and in-between sessions of Mario Kart: Double Dash.

When online, I sometimes play my old Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Ahm, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and Austin Powers Pinball.

Ah, I see, but glad to know that you still have it around. :) It's even more fun once you unlock more of the songs (I'm actually still working on unlocking 100% of the songs in 6, since it's harder in the older versions to do that than it is on 8 and up).

Currently I'm playing a Nintendo game called Mushroom Dreams.

It's Basicly Super Mario Bros. except, you play as one of those mushroom guys ("Goombas" right?) instead of Mario, and it has a Mario color scheme.

Also, instead of magic mushrooms, they are turtle shells (red to make you super, and green for 1-ups).

When you get a red shell, you turn into a turtle! :D

A question to all RE4 owners: Both "Mercenaries" and "Assignment Ada" were cut from the German version (censorship in videogames is getting more and more ridiculous here). Should I try and buy a foreign PAL version (and pay a couple of bucks extra) or aren't those modes worth it?

im playing THUG 2. i can get like over a 12 million point combo on the training stage. i thought i was the man until i seen someone pull out a 21 million combo online and then someone scored over 60 million in one run on his created stage, but you can put things on your created stage to get you more points like the ramp boost things. i didnt think scores like this where possible. i didnt think my 12 million was even beatable!

Right now I was playing Resident Evil:Outbreak and then later went on to Resident Evil 4. I was just bored. :sleep: I like playing the Resident Evil games, and other that envolve 3rd person shooting or survival. Like Silent Hill which is my total favorite. But I got this weird game called Siren which have the Japs. living in Japan which these people who heard the siren gets taken to a nightmare world(or the game says the underworld) which looks like there homes and the ocean is bloody red and the villagers/residents are demons. To survive through the whole game, buy traveling to different areas, do mission like saving somebody or getting through the area/or escape the area by protecting yourself with whatever you can, like poker, crowbar, wrench, handguns, Rifles, etc. :o
I just have an interest of bizarre games. :D

From what I know, Mercenaries and Assignment Ada are just harder modes of the same game. If they cut out the gore from the game, get the PAL version. While blood dosen't make the game, I just can't imagine playing it, blowing some ones head off, and just having it disappear.

Anyways... Right now.. I'm currently playing Link to the Past (for the GBA) and then I'm probably going to play Link's Awakening. I've also been playing Altered Beast... I still haven't beat it.. i finally reached the fourth level a few nights ago...

Funny... everybody loves Link to the Past, and while I can understand why, i perfer Link's awakening better if only for the fact that I can choose not to use the sword entirely (fire rod-roc's feather or bomb-arrows rocks!), or that it was my very first Zelda game... It's interesting though how much Link's Awakening "borrows" from LttP... it really gives it that "dream-like" feeling...

I'm sorta on hiatus from World Of Warcraft barring large scale guild raids. I've been playing Star Wars Bounty Hunter again. And I've been considering playing Wind Waker, FFX, Fire Emblem (all of which are previously played but incomplete), Metroid Prime 2 (Which I've never touched), Tales Of Symphonia, Mario & Luigi, and FFIX (All of which I have beaten and THOROUGHLY enjoyed). I literally beat Wind Waker just like 5 minutes ago. I've had it for 2 years and this is my third attempt. Pretty much the exact same thing happened with Metroid Prime. Both of those games had plagued me for a while as unfinished business after abandoned runs on each, but I finally took down Metroid Prime in December, and now Wind Waker. FANTASTIC game. I need to redo my list again. It seemed kinda short to me, but I still had a lot of fun. And the whole final area was a blast.

--Racthet & Clank 2: Going Commando-- I've nearly finished it, just at one of the last levels. I've forgotten the world I'm stuck on, but it has thugs EVERYWHERE and they're all pumped. I can't get past the bridge! o_O

--TMNT 1-- I think I havn't touched the game in ages, but since I completed the game as Raph, I left it at that. I couldn't stand doing it all over again

--TMNT 2-- I only got it a month back and I'm stuck on the allyway level already <_<

--Dog's Life-- Long story short - my Mom bought it with my PS2 so that she could save some money. Horrible game, pretty pointless. Stuck on the last level, but I couldn't care less

--Spyro:Enter the Dragonfly-- Almost finished this one. I just need afew more dragonflys to face Ripto for the last time

And amazingly, they are the only games I own :lol:

the merc mode of resident evil 4 is fun, but its easy to beat once you get krauser. i just got 120,000 points with him on the island level. i love taking those double chainsay guys apart.

Yes it's easy to beat Krausers game but to get the Handcannon you have to beat everyones Mercs game with a 5 star.

ADA: 5 Star on ever level
Krauser: 5 star on levels 1 and 2 and 4 star on levels 3 and 4
Hunk: 5 Star on levels 1 and 3 and 4 star on levels 2 and 4

Just had a hard time getting that woman from Umbralla to safety.

Simply put, if you own a DS and not this game, I'm sending Reggie to your house. This is the best puzzle game since Tetris Attack is easily it's equal. Fu*king ownage folks. Forget Lummies, forge Puzzle Fighter, forget anything. This is the one.

This is one of those games I plan on competing in professionally eventually...like Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon where I once killed 50 consecutive people in a media tournament.

I'll take on any of you. Bring it :D :evilgrin:

I'm playing Resident Evil 3: final escape for PC right now...damn Nemesis wont stop chasing me. His punches hurt and that damn rocket launcher he has packs a punch. Stupid Mercs arent much help either

Just wanted to bump this thread up to say I'm playing through Xenogears again. I might want to change my favorite games list to put it up there to number three or something, because this game is a masterpiece.
