What are you playing right now?

IceFlash78 · 05-29-2005, 06:53 PM

Hey guys.. I didn't see this type of thread anywhere, so I thought I might start one.

What game are you currently playing?

Me.. I'm between games. I FINALLY beat Phantasy Star II, and i'm just waiting for my friend to return "Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscurna" taht he borrowed so I can finally finish it.

愛 · 05-29-2005, 07:28 PM

Right now I've got a few games in the works.

World of Warcraft (It never ends)
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy VII
Devil May Cry 3

**GK Punk** · 05-29-2005, 08:41 PM

Xenosaga (never finished it, now I have Part 2....)
KOTOR 2 (The force is strong with this one)
Katamari Damacy
WWE SvR
Final Fantasy X-2 (mostly for my girlfriend. she's cosplaying as Yuna and wanted to see the game)

*KROW* · 05-29-2005, 09:04 PM

This could be my first time posting in this section since the forums returned.

Anyway... As far as consoles go, I'm currently playing WWE: Day of Reckoning, LOTR: The Third Age, TMNT: Mutant Melee, Disney's PK: Out of the Shadows (for my boy), and in-between sessions of Mario Kart: Double Dash.

When online, I sometimes play my old Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Ahm, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and Austin Powers Pinball.

*XERO* · 05-29-2005, 09:29 PM

Hey, KROW, I would love to play you in Double Dash.

As for me, I've been in an old school mood lately. Been playing a lot of Donkey Kong Country and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

*Deathknight* · 05-29-2005, 09:51 PM

Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 and Super Smash Bros Melee (this game I will never stop playing until Smash Bros 3 comes out.)

*JameO* · 05-29-2005, 10:24 PM

Halo 2 - Pure ownage
Rainbow Six 3 - Again, pure ownage
Star Wars Episode 3 - here and there, beat it twice already

GameBoyAdvanced

Pokemon Fire Red - Haven't played a pokemon game in a long time and I own every single pokemon game other than whatever came out for gamecube, I know sad, but I gotta catch em all!

DS

Rayman DS - Loved the console game, and the DS version looks alot cleaner than what I played on the PS2

Nintendo 64

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 - skateboarding games rock my socks

**Barkworm** · 05-29-2005, 11:09 PM

I play nothing right now.

*Spitfire* · 05-29-2005, 11:37 PM

And a bunch of other games I still need to finish.

**ThirdMarioBro** · 05-30-2005, 01:14 AM

I made a speed run through Mario Bros. 3, but that's about it. Just waiting on the new releases.

**Krang** · 05-30-2005, 03:10 AM

Here are the games I'm currently playing:

Doukutsu Monogatari (PC) (I already beat it, but I'm playing it again to get more weapons and the better ending)
Mario 64 (DS)
Puyo Pop Fever (DS)
Pop'n Music 8, 9, and 10 (PS2)

Don't tell me you gave up on PnM 6 already, GK...

Haha actually, I was just feeling the urge to play that game earlier

unfortunetley, I left my PSX Back in California

PDM025 · 05-30-2005, 03:26 AM

Your all talking about video games.
I love video games!

I wonder if you heard the news about the PS3
and Xbox 360?

Ah, I see, but glad to know that you still have it around.

It's even more fun once you unlock more of the songs (I'm actually still working on unlocking 100% of the songs in 6, since it's harder in the older versions to do that than it is on 8 and up).

Yep, the next generation of consoles is going to be an interesting one. You can read about it in our E3 Thread.

Yeah I still dig that game! It still kicks my ass every which way though

But it's so addicting I can't help but play it.

Yep, and if you look here , we have an entire section devoted to gaming

Peanut · 05-30-2005, 09:33 AM

I'm currently playing a few things.

Halo 2 (online maybe every 2 or 3 days).
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Beaten it three times since last Saturday.)
NHL 2k5 (Well...I'm Canadian.)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Just got the iron boots. This is my 6th run through.)
Pokemon: Leaf Green (JameO lent it to me, and it's making me realize how great the game really is.)

Sadly, I'm not playing anything on my DS. I'm using it to play PKMN, but that's it. I'm in desperate need of a new game. I might play through SM64 again, though.

Jed · 05-30-2005, 12:18 PM

Due to lack of funds I've been surviving on old games. I've started to play through the alternate mission on MGS2: Substance, they feel kinda cheap though.

I'm the same as Peanut, I've only been using my DS for Advance Wars 1 and 2. Can't wait for some more DS releases!

*Garou* · 05-30-2005, 12:25 PM

At the moment, I'm playing Sims 2 and World of Warcraft.

And then I'm waiting for Tekken 5 to be released in Denmark. Can't wait

*Brodie* · 05-30-2005, 02:04 PM

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.
