Here are the winners. I didn't watch it but I saw this list and I wanted to puke. I heard Resident Evil 4 was nominated for most everything Halo 2 was and lost. And I heard Devil May Cry 3 was nominated for everything God Of War was and lost. Talk about causal gamer hell. I hate G4

Yeah, I got the results in a press release last week and puked at that time. I was gonna post them here, but it was all sh*t news anyway so I didn't feel like it.

Half Life 2 is a far better shooter than Halo 2 anyday. Halo pwns at Multiplayer.....or I should sys "did" pwn at multiplayer before it got hacked, but no way in hell it deserves best shooter.

But hey, it's G4, so I expected no less. Seeing some dork dressed up in a Jedi costume tell bad jokes with Rappers introduced by Morgan Webb (met her, she's a b*tch btw) is not my idea of entertainment.

"God of War" deserves its awards. Apart from that... well, it isn't THAT bad, I actually agree with a lot of those results.

Being the Devil May Cry Veteran I am I found God Of War to be drastically simple and no fun because it was no challenge...I also thought it needed more variation between weapons. Chaining weapons together to make your own combos was a kick ass concept...

Me too, the game isn't even fun, it's a great big bore fest after 10 minutes, wow, move, shoot, move, shoot, boring city.

If you apply the same logic to Super Mario Brothers, you get the same results. It's run, jump, run, jump, yaaaaaaawn. I believe you have to make games like Halo fun by yourself. You can't expect a genre so bland to give you something innovative.

Not True Goldeneye was extremely innovative, it is the best Fps ever, because it makes you do little side missions and talk to people and added new elements to the genre, its more than just a normal FPS, I want more Fps's like that where you do more than just kill everything that moves.
