God, I hope so...right now I can't stand it...
Nothing, of course, compares to the original theme song. :)
But hey, they both beat the Vanilla Ice rap. >shudders<

Well I don't like it very much either, but I guess I can stand it.

its weird how people say that the new song cant beat the old one, it is time for change give the new song a chance maybe the new fans will pick up on it

I doubt it, a bad song is a bad song. :ohwell:
Despite the theme song and some let downs in the character designs, I am still hopeful

Best way to do it would have been to just put a theme music, no words.

WHAAAAT! let downs what let downs?

Well the Shredder looks too armored... But I belive he will be ok.

shredder is the only "let down" i noticed

I agree. That would've been better.
Something Techno-ish like the Batman Beyond or X-Men: Evolution themes would've rocked.
Karpo_007

Yeah Ithink Batman Beyond had pretty good theme. I wonder why they made lyrics in the first place, Neither Justice League or He-man has those, and I belive those are the most popular cartoons today..

I don't mind the theme song. I don't hate it or anything. But it still could've been better, I think. I like the idea of music with no words.

The new theme song is awful.

let downs... well Shredder being all armored up and looking like a freckin robot!!! :dead: Splinter kind of looks like a grey weasel in brown napkin with a droopy nose. The new vehicles, at least their names are preety stupid. April just doesn't look April, neither Mirage or cartoon. casey Jones looks like a preety boy, not the rough and tumble crazy viligilante we all know and love.
Thats just how I feel though

And you're the only one who feels like that.
Nickokapo

Well i agree with the splinter part...
But the rest was ok i guess, nothing really too terrible...sure, it'll be different than the old toon but it could be interesting.

I agree with NTurtle....

Well the original Splinter was brown, and so was the first cartoon one, Still I don't really have a problem with his color. Atleast he looks like a rat, unlike the archie splinter.

Personally, I can't stand the new tmnt theme. I didn't mind the original fox box theme but this one is just horrible.

I liked the Fox box one better too. Well I think I can learn to live with it.

Well I really hate the new song but it could be fine, depending on how the
animated sequence that goes with it comes out.

it doesnt really matter how good the theme is, the show is more important
Anarchistguy

Yeah if the story and animation are good (I sure hope the animation is good) then I'm fine with the show.
MzTheInsomniac

animation is the same as JCA so i'm hoping the fight scenes are pretty cool

I hope it's from the FIRST season of JCA.

Personally, I don't think it would have mattered what new theme song was introduced for the upcoming cartoon. There are going to be people everywhere that won't like it because you can't please everyone.
People like me who are in love with the old cartoon don't find it particularly appealing because the new theme doesn't resemble the old one at all. But how well would the old theme work with the new cartoon? This is a different era; cartoons are different, as well as themes. They wouldn't mesh.

Oh, yes, I'm so "old school" I'm dusty.
It's going to be really hard for the new cartoon to weasel its way into my world, just because I hold the old one so near and dear to my heart.

I like Mirage so Im older school... :) Well the old them would not fit the new cartoon, thats for sure. It's a whole diffrent show with diffrent characters. Only thing that remains are character names, and not even all of them. But I still think that just theme Music would have been a better choice.
But as it have been said, the them doesn't mater, it's the show that does. Im not familiar with the animation team, but the stories are based on Mirage, so there wont be problems in that department.

Karpo, about the animation, haven't you watched the MIB or Extreme
Ghostbusters or even Godzilla cartoons? These shows should give you
idea of how the new TMNT cartoon will be animated.
Karpo_007

I haven't watched any of those... Not in Tv here, I probably could download some of those, But I think il wait for the new series.

Actually, I think Jackie Chan Adventures or X-Men Evolution are better examples when comparing the animation. The designs really look closer to what you'd see in those shows, IMO.
