I love that the show does have not any loose ends; reminds me a lot of the Gargoyles waay back.

Nevertheless I do remember a scene as the TMNT first visited the Battle Nexus World in the Winners Hall - where all the statues of the winners were standing - that one of the turtles (don't remember who it was) seen a statue of Shredder (and there was even that Shredder-sound)...

So, has Shredder once won the championship, too?

Or was it one of the Shredder look-alikes from the scene of "The Prodigal Son" whom the Ancient One meets?

:D

I think at one time the shredder won the battle nexus to have a statue in the hall of fame.

Can't really imagine the Shredder participating in the Battle Nexus. Since when does he follow rules set by others?

I think the winner must have been someone who looks like the Shredder, but not him. One of the three shadow figures in the end of Tales of Yoshi seems likely.

Maybe he was at the Battle Nexus at some point since Ultimate Ninja knew of him and came to earth wanting to battle him, but had to settle for fighting Leo instead.

True, I forgot about that... but still, Shredder in the Battle Nexus? Fighting fair under someone else's rules? Fighting with honor?

There could be a story in it. Granted, I can't for the life of me recall how much time passed between each Nexus Tournament, so this might not hold water, even as a theory.

Shredder pulls a Traximus and heads to the Nexus tournament to try and find worthwhile warriors to bring back to Earth to destroy the Ultroms. Karai goes along, being his apprentice at this point. To keep up appearances with his apprentice (an act Shredder would later drop in Seasons 2 and 3) he keeps up appearances and fights in the tournament as an honorable warrior.

He seems to understand the need for honor sometimes. In "Tales Of Yoshi" he recognised the need for honorable combat between Musashi and Yoshi rather than it being Musashi and the foot vs Yoshi. Then again, it could be he just wanted to watch Musashi die for his failure at Utrom base.

He must have atleast some honor, seems Karai seems to have picked up that trait, atleast until recent events anyway.

I saw it that way :P We've seen before how the Shredder treats the ones who have failed him.

Ultimate Ninja knew of Shredder? Cool...

And as Shredder has been aproximately 500 years on Earth, he could have at any point travelled to the Battle Nexus to win the championship.

Who was the turtle that have seen the statue? Mikey?

Has anyone pictures of that statue?

There's still a few .... that creature from "Dragon's Brew" hasn't been seen again, neither has the Rat King. Nothing more has been seen from that freaky pigeon at the end of "Outbreak" either.

They also haven't really furthed the relationship between April and Casey much other than a few scenes in "People's Choice"

Ultimate Ninja knew of Shredder? Cool...Yes he went to earth the first time to challange the Shredder but Leo had already cut off his head (actually his ultrom's robotic body's head).
Who was the turtle that have seen the statue?Leo. Right before he was attacked by the shadow warriors.

No one ever stopped to think that maybe that armor desgin isn't Shredder's? Anyone ever think maybe it belongs to the one who trainned him? I don't believe he learned all those moves without any trainning. I think the people the Ancient one talked to are the ones Shredder was taught by. How else could he build an army so quickly? And how else could get armor like that with just a basic exo-suit.

It seems like there are a line of Shredders, maybe it's the original or something. That might explain why there are all these other "followers" or something. I wonder how the original came about in that case.
