It's almost September and no mention of when things start back up again. Plus whatever happened to the sticky threads for new episodes? Has interest dropped that much?

Most of us have already watched the new FF episodes on the DVD, so seeing them debut on TV is only exciting for those who haven't watched them yet.
As for your question, I have no clue when the exact date is that 4kids plans to air them.

4KidsTV's fall schedule begins on September 8th, as well as TMNT FF's final six episodes. I'll watch them again. I've got to keep my record going of having every 2k3/FF episode taped in their original airing order.. and I want to see the rumored alternate ending on "Day of Awakening". :P

Eh.. I'll probably end up watching it and collect the cards since I love Dinosaurs so much*hugs her dinosaur plushies and her Gojira doll* Hmm... some of those dinos on the cards I don't recognize....odd....

Everything Pokemon is based on the video game, including the Pokemon TCG. :P
If Dinosaur King is a card game show, that makes it the third such show on the 4Kids line-up. No wonder they tried to push TMNT in that direction.

Man! I gotta go out and get the FF DVD. No way in hell am I watching that loser line up. And they wonder why they constantly tank in the ratings.
A live action kid's show on Saturday morning? Yeah. the animation apoclypse is coming. (Tosses pencils and paper into trash).

E/I stands for Educational/Informational programming. It's basically a tag they slap on there because it's required that stations show at least 3 hours of E/I stuff. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E/I
The Adrenaline Project is another 4Kids collaboration with YTV in Canada, like Viva Pinata. Chaotic and Di-Gata Defenders are collaborations with Teletoon in Canada. However, it seems Di-Gata Defenders has disappeared, not that I mind or anything :/

It's educational cuz they're going to school to learn how to use their powers. And there's the whole learning the power of friendship thing... yea...that's it... :D
I'd like to know tho where they get the idea of what shows are educational cuz looking at that list I don't see how Stargate Infinity is educational.... *blinks* ô,0
Other shows on that list that don't seem educational:
Archie's Weird Mysteries - Um...what? How is this educational??? Archie solves mysteries that generally are magical. Cuz yea a worm that's defeated by the sound of a bell is educational....
Krypto the Superdog: What do you learn in this??? Do you learn how many ways Red Kryptonite can effect a dog?
Cubix: Robots for Everyone: Yes! Lets learn um...robotics?
Magical Do Re Mi: What the bloody frak?! How is 3 kids training to be witches educational??
Phil of the Future: A family from the future stuck in the 21st century is educational how?
Stargate Infinity: How in the heck is this crap educational?? This was the WORST Stargate series ever!
Trollz: Wait what?
Winx Club: hmm
Ok so what have we learned??? Shows about magic are educational. Good to know...
However there appears to be limits:
What constitutes the shows as "E/I" is determined by the Federal Communications Commission, which enforces the regulations. The agency took a more hands-on role in enforcing the rules in 1996, after the first few years of the act were ineffective as stations claimed programs like The Jetsons, The Flintstones, G.I. Joe, daytime talk shows and Leave it to Beaver had educational elements
Dear Federal Communications Commission....

so..... sleep in and just pony up 10 bucks for the DVD?
I'm sure 4kids would get their grubby hands on Mushiking as well. Basically the same as Dino King, but with Beetles (They advertise it all over Doraemon breaks on those Asian Market bootleg tapes I have).. They'd have no problem trying in vain to make money off of that one.

You know what's funny? A lot of parents like the show because of that. I've heard/Talked to parents that watched it and enjoyed that it was educational in some way. I'm guessing the whole value of friendship thing, or maybe teaching the difference between right and wrong? Cause you throw a Moral at the end, and it's very Masters of the Universe in that way.
Drtooth
09-07-2007, 08:09 AM
Shoving a moral into something isn't educational. For that matter, they could have dubbed South Park as E/I.
GK Punk
09-07-2007, 08:15 AM
...You totally missed the point of what I said.
I never said that made it educational. I compared it to Masters of the Universe for teaching the same type of morals, but not having the moral segment at the end.

8:00 AM - Winx Club
9:30 AM - TMNT Fast Forward
10:00 AM - TMNT Fast Forward
11:30 AM - Sonic X :
that I'd even CONSIDER watching!
For ONE thing, I positively HATE Yu-Gi-Oh (in whatever form), Viva Pinata is just flat-out annoying (okay, there HAVE been some CUTE eps of it, but still......!!!), and do NOT even get me STARTED on Chaotic!
All-in-all, I would say that 4Kids' fall line-up (WITH the exception of the TMNT (FF, or otherwise) and Sonic X (and possibly Winx Club (which I actually DO like, believe it or not)) has absolutely NOTHING that I'd bother waking UP for on Saturday mornings. But THAT doesn't surprise me all THAT much. Outside the TMNT, they never do.
Now, IF they just had the sense to option the new Biker Mice From Mars series, and make sure that they're enough time-space between it and the TMNT, that's be a DIFFERENT story. But, as we ALL know, 4Kruds DOESN'T have that kind of sense, so we get stuck with another loser season.:P
(Well, with the aforementioned exceptions, that is.:ohwell: )

Just remember tho that the reason for Adrenaline Project is cuz Winx Club is ending. There's just a couple eps left of the series all together (the series finale being Sept 22nd) with the theatrical film coming out in December. I made a thread about the movie (with a link to the trailer) here:

I'd just like to say this about Dinosaur King:
If you missed the original cast of Pokemon... watch this. Cuz seriously it's the entire original cast.... When the green haired villian said "Prepare to Surface!" with Jesse's voice...I almost thought they'd all start saying something similar to Team Rocket.
Veronica Taylor voices the lead of course, Max (who sounds exactly like Ash Ketchum) and Chomp (a Triceratops Max befriends) has the same colours as Pikachu.

That show was the lamest Pokemon rip off I have ever seen!!!!
It's Ash with Dinos! He's even got a stupid badge!!! Ugh...
I'm not a big Pokemon fan as I used to be but I would rather sit and watch Pokemon for hours than some wannabe show with dinos.
Veronica doesn't voice Ash anymore do she? He sounds different now. My son noticed it right away with all the newer eps.
Nope. She lost her Pokemon gig as soon as they announced Fast Forward. She was back-burnered... :ohwell:

The newer Pokemon stuff doesn't have the original cast. They were all fired and I don't like the new voices. Dinosaur King has the original Pokemon voice cast...and the villians are more or less Team Rocket but called Team Alpha. *lol* I think it's an amusing spoof. The plus is that it's got Dinosaurs in it and that always pulls me in (and Chomp is sooo adorable! )

I wonder what they're going to do in January with the two TMNT slots.
One of them should be the Lost Season, but I wonder if the other will still remain a FF rerun slot. They've rerun FF to death now (although I suppose they could still rerun the last 6 episodes a bit since those won't have aired as much as the others), so it'd be redundant to keep it up.
I do like how TMNT remains one of 4kids highest rated shows on the 4kids block, so that probably accounts to the two timeslots. Wonder how long they'll stay like that.

FF is terrible. I really feel depressed having watched it:(
I don't even know what to do * deep sigh* :)
By the way, how do you think, is it the end of the Shredder? Demon is killed, utrom Shred is in the ice prison we may say and the human - Oroku Saki has been dead for many centures. :dead:

Translated from Puter's polite version...
Get laid.
As for Shredder, Saki's plot has essentially been concluded, but the mantle will probably continue to resurface under a new heir. Even FF had a Shredder episode.

Personally, I can say I can enjoy FF, but it seems like they could have done so much more than they did with it. Seems like they were trying to make it like the old series, but they forgot to get down the wit and charm.

Of course I have exaggerated a bit.(the depression I mean). Many russian fans didn't like FF, so I expressed their opinion as well. As to Shredder, I think that there are many interesting enemies except him though he is my favourite
