So when do new episodes of FF resume?

It's almost September and no mention of when things start back up again. Plus whatever happened to the sticky threads for new episodes? Has interest dropped that much?

Most of us have already watched the new FF episodes on the DVD, so seeing them debut on TV is only exciting for those who haven't watched them yet.

As for your question, I have no clue when the exact date is that 4kids plans to air them.

4KidsTV's fall schedule begins on September 8th, as well as TMNT FF's final six episodes. I'll watch them again. I've got to keep my record going of having every 2k3/FF episode taped in their original airing order.. and I want to see the rumored alternate ending on "Day of Awakening".

Everything Pokemon is based on the video game, including the Pokemon TCG.

If Dinosaur King is a card game show, that makes it the third such show on the 4Kids line-up. No wonder they tried to push TMNT in that direction.

Man! I gotta go out and get the FF DVD. No way in hell am I watching that loser line up. And they wonder why they constantly tank in the ratings.

A live action kid's show on Saturday morning? Yeah. the animation apoclypse is coming. (Tosses pencils and paper into trash).

E/I stands for Educational/Informational programming. It's basically a tag they slap on there because it's required that stations show at least 3 hours of E/I stuff. More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E/I

The Adrenaline Project is another 4Kids collaboration with YTV in Canada, like Viva Pinata. Chaotic and Di-Gata Defenders are collaborations with Teletoon in Canada. However, it seems Di-Gata Defenders has disappeared, not that I mind or anything :/

Winx Club... educational?? I totally see how they arrived at that conclusion.

It's educational cuz they're going to school to learn how to use their powers. And there's the whole learning the power of friendship thing... yea...that's it...

I'd like to know tho where they get the idea of what shows are educational cuz looking at that list I don't see how Stargate Infinity is educational.... *blinks* ô,0

Other shows on that list that don't seem educational:
Archie's Weird Mysteries - Um...what? How is this educational??? Archie solves mysteries that generally are magical. Cuz yea a worm that's defeated by the sound of a bell is educational....

Krypto the Superdog: What do you learn in this??? Do you learn how many ways Red Kryptonite can effect a dog?

Cubix: Robots for Everyone: Yes! Lets learn um...robotics?

Magical Do Re Mi: What the bloody frak?! How is 3 kids training to be witches educational??

Phil of the Future: A family from the future stuck in the 21st century is educational how?

Stargate Infinity: How in the heck is this crap educational?? This was the WORST Stargate series ever!

Trollz: Wait what?

Winx Club: hmm

Ok so what have we learned??? Shows about magic are educational. Good to know...

However there appears to be limits:

Quote:
What constitutes the shows as "E/I" is determined by the Federal Communications Commission, which enforces the regulations. The agency took a more hands-on role in enforcing the rules in 1996, after the first few years of the act were ineffective as stations claimed programs like The Jetsons, The Flintstones, G.I. Joe, daytime talk shows and Leave it to Beaver had educational elements
Dear Federal Communications Commission....

so..... sleep in and just pony up 10 bucks for the DVD?

I'm sure 4kids would get their grubby hands on Mushiking as well. Basically the same as Dino King, but with Beetles (They advertise it all over Doraemon breaks on those Asian Market bootleg tapes I have).. They'd have no problem trying in vain to make money off of that one.

You know what's funny? A lot of parents like the show because of that. I've heard/Talked to parents that watched it and enjoyed that it was educational in some way. I'm guessing the whole value of friendship thing, or maybe teaching the difference between right and wrong? Cause you throw a Moral at the end, and it's very Masters of the Universe in that way.

Shoving a moral into something isn't educational. For that matter, they could have dubbed South Park as E/I.

...You totally missed the point of what I said.

I never said that made it educational. I compared it to Masters of the Universe for teaching the same type of morals, but not having the moral segment at the end.
