At the request of Putrescent I will take on the roll of our favorite sewer dwelling mutants and answer questions from their adoring fans.

I'll start with what was in the thread I posted in originally and build off that.

Haha, Spitfire, I've been reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (again) and your some of your responses remind me of Marvin. A really, really angry Marvin.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Marvin's a really depressed android who responds to every question or comment with a creative remark on how miserable he is.

Guys, you have to realize how kids minds think.

I am a father of two, and the way you guys are bashing these kids for having heores, well, let's just say, if my son Austin (who loves TMNT,) had made a question on there, because he loves the TMNT, and you bashed him, I would be very displeased.

Wether you guys are having fun or not, it's ok, but still feels wrong. When I was a kid, seeing TMNT on the big screen, I didn't care if they were real of fake... If I sent a letter to the TMNT, and they answered (even though it wasn't the real Turtles,) I was happy to know I was talking to my favorite Turtle.

I guess you guys would have to have kids, to understand how you are talking at the moment, and while I thought there would be intellegent questions, I cannot knock the kids, who are trying to talk to their favorite cartoon characters. Simply put, I cannot always think about myself in life, and the questions I think one should be asking.

This is for the kids, let's try and respect the youth of the world... When you guys have kids, I doubt you'd like to see people making fun of kids... Kids are kids afterall. They are the future, not some piece of trash to call Idiots.

I love the members of these forums, and some of you guys seem to have good heads on your shoulders, but I cannot help but feel dissapointed in this topic, where kids and their imaginations are the subject of bashing because they are asking the questions a kid would ask.

I know these forums can be better then this. :cry:

Little kids may be innocent and all that, but they aren't retards.
This is exactly why I thought that some adult was typing these questions out, because many adults do think children are this stupid.
And there's nothing wrong with what spitfire is doing, it's very funny, sure maybe some of them are a bit over the edge but what 5 year old is going to read those comments anyway.

I think Spit is doing it all in good fun. We know kids often do write like this because my mom works with kids who may ask questions this way. She's shown me some birthday cards the kids wrote, and it kinda reminds me of what Spit is posting. I think he's just venting the fact that parents aren't teaching their kids anything. My mom has even said that some of the kids she works with in kindergarten don't even know their ABCs.

I am not on some mighty throne about this, it was just an opinion.

I never cussed anyone out, called anyone names, but when I read some of those, I thought about my kids, and had my kids asked one of those questions.

Kids believe in Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, the Groundhog, and that their favorite heroes cartoon or TV Show, is who they want to grow up being.

I know this was done in good fun, and now that Spitfire said if the kids ever would see it, he would never have done it, then that is cool, as he literally means he didn't mean any of it.

I can handle things easy trust me, I just felt a bit sorry for the kids like someone else who posted they just felt sorry for the kids.

As I said, what I did when I was 15 is inexcusable.

I even have a friend who is gay now (he knows how to respect straight guys.) However, my statements, before learning Spit was joking, and it was just for fun, come from a dude who is 29 and has had to realize a lot of things.

One doesn't care too much about life and its qualities, as a teen, its all about fun. There are many times I should've either wound up dead, or in jail for petty stupid crap.

Spit said it was all in good fun, so that tells me he was just having fun, and wouldn't really dog kids like that, which is fine by me. You never know what anyone is thinking until you know for sure. That is a quality all of us humans possess... The right to opinions in finding out reason.

But yea, one could question me as a teen, but when you have to wake up and live in the real world, things change, and sometimes for the better. I'm just glad I learned all my hard lessons and came to my realizations while I was a teen.

Spit didn't mean any harm, and since he said that, I have no concerns, but they were only concerns in the first place. Nothing wrong with being concerned about ones actions, and stating an opinion. However, there is nothing wrong with having a little fun either. :D

You see, honestly, I used to consider this all nerd stuff. Before I found you can actually make decent convos on forum sites most of the time.

Yikes man... You know someone told me in this topic I needed to chill, for having an opinion, but to say I am disrespecting for stating opinions about what I "USED" to think?

Here's something to take into mind... Outside of questioning Spitfire, which I have stated time and time again, and I am surprised this hasn't been dropped already, despite having put little smilies in to show I am trying to let this crap drop, did you ever notice that I have not called anyone names, or bashed anyone in this post outside of saying that I felt it was wrong to lament the kids making those posts? Saying something is wrong isn't bashing someone, it is just saying I FELT WRONG... Me. Last I checked Spit wasn't "ME" so saying I, did not mean Spitfire.

Honestly though, its an opinion, and I will reply to opinions about me, but notice how I actually don't get offended by these opinions? That's what they are afterall correct?

1. Me spitting in Krangs face

2. Me ragging on ALL the DROME members

3. Me sitting on a high horse

I am simply here doing what everyone does on a forum site, stating opinions and making topics about the matter at hand (in this case the TMNT.) I keep trying to drop it, and carry on, while still forming opinions based on those who want to keep re-opening it. Opinions will always be met with opinions, but if you guys want the last hurrah, go ahead on my behalf. Reply to this, in any fashion, and I will truly show you what it means to drop the subject, by not replying, so this topic can be peaceful again. So much for spitting in someones face. :)
