I been thinking about this since episode 6 & 7 thats been talking about the Utroms. We all know that Krang is like the Utrom only he not 100% Utrom. But there's something I don't get. If Ouka Saki hates the Utroms in the new Series than why did he get Krang for a partner in the original series? I've only seen Several episodes if only I seen all the episodes from Season 1-3 Id know why. But can some explain to me why.

This and Original series have nothing to do with each other. Nor is Krang a Utrom, they just copied his looks from them. I hope that clears it up.

how ever...isn't it true that in the comic strip krang was a utrom? I think that's the case, but i could be wrong.

But yeah like karpo said, in the old cartoon krang was based on the utroms from the comic books. And the new cartoon has nothing to do with the old cartoon...it is much more closely based on the comics than the origional cartoon was.

Yes, he was, and I thought that was cool. In the comic strip, it's basically all (or most) of the universes mixed together. I love reading them.

But yeah, like Karpo said. :D

I love the comic strip too. It's basicly Archie with some Mirage touch.

That's what I said Krang's not 100% Utrom But did the Original Shredder hate or know what a Utrom is?

OK OK So Shredder never seen a Large Brain Cell Before. I'm trying to say this but I know that Krang is a clone with Utrom looks but NOT a Utrom. Like I said that I never seen the first episode with Krang in it but was there a resind why Shredder wanted Krang?

I think it trends along the time of Krang giving Shredder the technology to dominate Earth and in return Shredder will build Krang a body to dominate Dimension X...that's what I always thought as a kid anyway.

The whole krang origin was never really explained. Sure we all know the supreme warlord of Deminsion X was bainished to earth and he lost his body. But the cartoon never really explains how he lost his body. Just that Krang teamed up with Shredder because he wanted Shredder to make him a body and Shredder teamed up with Krang because of his technology (the technodrome).

In the old cartoon, I assume Shredder partnered up with Krang because Krang promised him alien technology that would make him a very powerful man. Krang needed human help in order to accomplish some things (like building his robot body.)

The Archie comic series (especially issue #12) has some great insight into Krang's origins. Also check out the profiles at www.ninjaturtles.com which for some reason are based on the Archie comics. (one would think they'd be based on the Mirage series) :-?

BTW Let's hear it for Terror of the Swamp! Funniest bad fake cajun accent since that McDonald's commercial! You Rock Man!!

The profiles are pretty much mixed from every universe.

Yes, this was one thing that was never explained that I wish the old cartoon would have talked about. It's pretty much left open for debate. We viewers are left to decide Krang's origin. It's probably for the better though because whatever we come up with is a hundred times better than what we might have been given in the show:

"Krang just fell from the sky, Shredder tripped over him while licking a strawberry ice cream cone, and it was then that they both realized they could help each other rule the world. Krang would get a body, and Shredder would get all the Dimension X ice cream he could eat."

"You may be onto something, Krang." - Shredder, from "Get Shredder!"

with krang it's like this when the old show began the creators saw what the utrom design is. that's all they just took that basic design and made a character. he isn't a utrom

OK So krang Promised shredder for advance technology. At least I understanding this alot more. When i was little I always thought Krang's Body suit had a name but I guess I was wrong.

If you ask me, I think the original cartoon intentionally wanted to confuse the viewers into what Krang's origin was. In "Four Musketurtles", there's a flashback scene where Krang is telling Shedder about the ruby from Dimension X. In that scene there are at least 2 Krang-ish lookng things in bubble walkers.

Three seasons later in "Invasion of the Krangazoids", Krang makes 6 clones of himself, but they start growing bodies because, according to Donatello, the DNA in him didn't account for the loss of his body and that the full clones are what Krang looked like before he was banished (Nicko, if you still have that picture, show it).

Thats due the fact the series had so many diifrent writers. Left hand didn't know what right was doing.

continuity waas lost in that show

Yeah. The curse of too much popularity. Well in season 7-10 it had only one writing team, so it got a lot better.

Well It was ok in season 10, but season 9 was a disapointment. I guess my favorite of redsky is season 8.

Yeah. In the end of season 8 Shredder and Krang stuck in the Dimension X. They did return in season 10 tough.

I still think the red sky-seasons were way too serious. Jokes were all the old series was about! Be honest: If you watch the old cartoon today, do you watch it because of the fighting scenes?

I've never seen Dimension X. I don't remenber if I'd seen an episode or not. I heard it contains mutated creatures. Dimension X reminds me of The Void in SatAM Sonic.

Thats not entirely correct. Th first season was really action based, but as it went on, it switched more and more to slapstick comedy. The ratings dropped, and Redsky was a way to get them back up. It actually worked, but CBS still decided to cancell the show...
