Mutated Turtle

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise possibly could have came to an end.And here's why I think that;
There wasn't much released for about 2 or 3 years. Playmates would not release anything new except ugly remakes.Some companies made shirts, hats, etc. But that was nearly all that came out in the last 3/2 years.Wal-Mart stopped carrying TMNT products, and that could've had something to with this.
Mirage Studios, Peter Laird, etc were losing interest in the TMNT, No, they never actually said it. But it was hinted at in their blog posts.This was actually hinted at in a lot of their blog posts.
4kids aired the old 2k3 show, but they've aired that for like 6 years.When they were called "fox box".In 2006 they released Fast Forward, that didn't have many episodes; people got bored of it.EVENTUALLY, they released BTTS, that also had few episodes; once again, that got boring.
They released nothing except Turtles Forever after that. Barely nothing at all happened after that.
And then there was the 25th anniversy of the TMNT; the 25th anniversy didn't spark much more interest in TMNT. sure, there was a few contests, but that obviously wasn't enough to spark any interest.
So, for about 2 years, there were no new TMNT stuff.It made sense, though.TMNT wasn't really that popular at that time. It was dieing out.
If Viacom didn't buy the TMNT, then TMNT would've probably ended. It might have been a good thing that Viacom bought it. But then again, it's possible that it is a bad thing too.
