Again, as far as I know not all of these fans have massive connections. Machi and GK (I'm only assuming GK has a box, from previous postings) don't seem as "connected" as Rose and Archon. And heck, Ivey and tOkKa didn't get one.

You know, I'm really dissapointed in a lot of you folks out there.
I know I'm not the only one, but my life has been just really bad (understatement) for the past few years.
This is by far the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me and I'm deeply touched.
Who knows if I will even be a fan of the new series?
But I'll tell you this much, my respect for Nickelodeon has skyrocketed.
It also feels nice to have your talents which normaly go unoticed talked about and respected by people in charge of something you care a great deal about.
I'm very excited and happy about goings on with this show and you folks should be as well.

If I have learned anything from fandom (and this one in particular) you need to have a thick skin and learn to just take what others say with a grain of salt. The important thing here is, you're happy.

You are getting this amazing chance and you can't let a few other bitter individuals ruin it for you. Fandom is what you make of it and I personally always try to make it fun. I won't lie I had a little spat of jealously the first time I read this thread (I think probably every fan here did :twink:) but that passed for me and then I just started to appreciate much like I said in my last post the fact that our portion of the fandom has a voice now.

And honestly I am pretty pleased with everyone that has been picked because while not knowing any of you personally you all seem fairly well spoken and open minded, which I think is important.

So enjoy whatever is happening and please tell us all about it as soon as you can :tgrin:

Exactly. That and we're not sure why those who were chosen were chosen. Yes some are huge names in the community, but there are others who are also well known for their near obsession with the Turtles who didn't. I personally think this is a very nice thing from Nickelodeon. I feel happy to see that they care for the fans, and this is a good way of showing. Also, it makes perfect sense that the guys that were chosen to receive the pizzas can't talk by now, but I'm sure they will as soon as they can, and there's no reason to hold any bad feelings against them (when they've given so much to this community).

There probably are some other people that deserved to get one but didn't, but in my opinion we shouldn't get all negative about this just because of that.

Two of the receipients were on the Season 7 DVD being interviewed as hardcore fans. That may have tipped them off to who to send to.

- Does everyone who got one run a TMNT website or any sort of general entertainment website where TMNT news might be relevant? That can be a major deciding factor as well.

- Also, how recently and often do the receipients post on the Technodrome?

- Lastly, what pizza chain did they use and does that pizza chain exist in the areas of other deserving people who may not have gotten one?

Seems everyone involved at least contributes to TMNT fandom beyond forum posts, even if only a little. While there may have been other deserving contributors that never recieved a pizza, we know that the common thread is contribution.

As for other people we don't know possibly getting them, Google says that they're not talking. The only relevant result I can get is this very thread. I would guess that anyone else who got one is probably part of something more similar to IGN, which covers a multitude of things.

That's all speculation, though. Speculation that's making me hungry.

You know, I'm really dissapointed in a lot of you folks out there.
I know I'm not the only one, but my life has been just really bad (understatement) for the past few years.
This is by far the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me and I'm deeply touched.
Who knows if I will even be a fan of the new series?
But I'll tell you this much, my respect for Nickelodeon has skyrocketed.
It also feels nice to have your talents which normaly go unoticed talked about and respected by people in charge of something you care a great deal about.
I'm very excited and happy about goings on with this show and you folks should be as well.

So at first I was hesitant to announce that I had procured one of the said pizza boxes. But after thinking about it, when it was delivered to me, my co-workers and clients were present, so other people have seen it obviously... and since others have been so proud to display their pizza boxes, then I will follow suit, it's only fair for all of the fans to see, as I accept it in the honor of all turtle fans. Now, for the video... Included in this video, is the evidence of my pizza box and a look at my collectibles that I have attained over a span of more than 20 years (sorry for the bad lighting in some of it it was put together rather quick) and some of my artwork to share with those who haven't seen them and also not to waste a video on just showing a pizza box. I think everyone that has received one of these pizza boxes holds in their heart the best interest of all turtle fans that have loved and cherished them over decades, just as I have. I would have gladly shared a slice of the pie with any of you guys and gals, you are all my brothers and sisters. I am a hardcore, die hard, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan just like so many of the rest of you. They have brought me happiness in so many trying times, have given me a hobby, and inspired me to become an artist. I have made videos, one that remained at the videos page of the TMNT25 website which to my surprise has managed to have been viewed almost 20,000 times, I've kept TMNT in view where I live through my art, displaying bits of my collection in my tattoo room, though so many have pretended to forget them, they are always recognized by my clients and tales of memories ensue. Like I said before. I am guessing they're Press Packs of some kind. IIRC The recipients of the boxes are owners/hosts of TMNT blogs/domains, although Tok did'nt get one and neither did Mikey QM(?). Must have got lost/eaten in transit.
