Cholesterol.
Lets face it, those pizzas are going to catch up with them eventually. If they were real they would probably be in very bad shape and have arteries as hard as rock.

Going out every night leaping over rooftops and taking karate classes each day negate the unhealthy side effects of eating pizza. Living in raw sewage also probably tempered their immune systems.
Ya did notice they were pudgy in the series where they were obsessed with pizza, right?

I've never understood this view. The OT turtles are ripped. Just because their design is drawn more rounded than others doesn't mean their chubby or pudgy.

You can be skinny or in good shape and still have cholesterol problems. I just find it kind of funny that they're ninja masters yet they eat nothing but junk food.
If Shredder can just hang in there, the turtles will defeat themselves eventually.
And no, I'm not trolling, I just thought we could have some fun with the topic.
Don't worry. Obvious joke post was obvious. What serious answer could follow "After 25 years, the turtles' worst enemy is...." that wouldn't be even trollier? :P

I got a laugh out of it.:)
The turtles' ninja lifestyle does keep the pounds off, but consuming that much grease and cheese still wouldn't be good for them.
Something I've always thought about regarding the turtles and pizza though is..

If she wasn't putting on weight before, she sure would have been with all the time she spent around the TMNT. Pizza is hard to resist.

Well, since the turtles (even the OT ones) have to workout by Master Splinter as well as battle which requires lots of energy, all except Michelangelo shouldn't be too concerned about cholesterol (as evidenced in Once Upon a Time Machine). Still, for Leo, Raph, and Don, Shredder is still tops. For all other versions, Shredder of course is their worst enemy, and still is for the Nick version (though currently its still Old Hob for IDW).

Wasn't there an OT ep where the ep's focus was soley on Mikey putting on weight from eating too much pizza? I'm pretty sure it was an earlier ep. I'm sure he still had his chucks.

I remember one where they traveled to the future and Michaelangelo got fat. I think earlier in the episode Splinter told him he was eating too much pizza.

But, to be fair, that statement could easily apply to just about any franchise.

Lots of good puns in that episode!
Also, "Cowabunga, Shredhead" dealt with Michelangelo's unhealthy obsession with pizza.

What's a "cankle"?
A combination calf-ankle. If there's no distinction or definition, then you have cankles.

Why am I not surprised that this became a discussion about April's rack
:trolleye:
Cuz April's rack is the TMNT's worst enemy these days? O_o

I love that episode.
To be honest, TMNT fans on the whole aren't as bad as some fandoms out there, but they get the stink eye pretty bad. I just like being an insider troll.
Well, considering the weird toppings they liked in the OT, they probably threw up most of it. Bulimia is more likely the villain. ;)
Silly topic, but there have to be some fun threads like this on every forum. :)

I actually thought this is where the thread was going... sigh. Yeah, we get it, you hate Bay. I don't like him particularly but come on. Gets old.

I agree. The OT turtles were muscular and buff almost to the point of not looking like "teenagers." The only thing rounded or marginally "pudgy" was their heads. When their masks were off their heads looked like bottom heavy baloons or something.
I thought it was funny how the OT turtles body deminsions looked more detailed and realistic than the 2k3 turtles. The 2k3 turtles body angles looked sharp and pointy, like you could poke an eye out if you got too close to them. :trazz:

That was more due to the art style. I'm not a fan of the art styles with sharp edges either, it always comes off as a cheap knockoff of anime.
And I see you like City Hunter. Its one of my favourite shows, but little known since its a bit old now.
