Will Baxter Stockman be mutated?

This show has a habit of turning almost every human character the Turtles meet into a mutant, especially the villains, and Baxter's most famous form is his mutated fly form from the original cartoon.

What do you think will happen to him eventually?

I think he'll become a fly. I'm hoping for it anyway. We've had the OT & comic versions, now it's time to see them combined, I say.

Well, the Playmates figure being released just has Baxter in Cyborg Armor, so it would be awhile before he'd get mutated into a fly. OT Baxter is an anomoly- caucasian, worked for a small pest control company, plus the mutation was based on a b-movie. So, he may or may not get mutated, but only popular demand would see him get mutated into a fly, and I voted no.

i would prefer he turn into a fly eventually. but the cyborg fly is a good idea too. however i wouldn't complain if it went either way.

what i would like though... is for him to build mousers first... before mutating or going cyborg or android. i want hoards of mousers! HOARDS! i think they can pull it off.

By what I said earlier, I meant that a half fly, half cyborg (flyborg anyone?)
He'd keep his afro and his face would have some changes, like a cyborg part of face and bug eye glasses. Would have a fly wing on one side, cyborg-ish one on the other. On arm is cyborg, one is fly, same with legs. Can still see a bit of pink sweater.

Every time I hear you guys talk about merging Baxter Stockman's two transformations, I think of this Transformers toy I have:

But with the cockroach mutant and that other upcoming bug (wasp?), there's the issue of there not only being many mutants already, but bug mutants being notably plentiful.

So I don't think it's gonna happen. Actually, I can easily see Nick Baxter undergoing no transformation whatsoever, but just staying an ordinary human until the series finishes. It's a slight shame to break the chain of animated Baxter = transformation, but I can deal.

Just the opposite for me, I've liked him in every incarnation and hope Nick Baxter improves and does something memorable to make him stand out compared to the others.

At this point Baxter has become a mainstay of every TMNT universe, much like Leatherhead and Rat King and Karai, they're always going to come back compared to the others.

Considering Bebop and Rocksteady can't even break into another cartoon despite their popularity, it says a lot.

Good point about bebop and rocksteady. I dont know I think I could like him if done well but so far I dont care for him in nick. That may change though.

Honestly, this cartoon is dishing out mutants left and right, it might be most novel if he just STAYED human.

So far our only human enemies are Shredder and Karai, right? And Karai has the potential of turning into a weird good guy/antihero, so she might not even count much further into the series.

Personally, Baxter's my favorite TMNT villain, and while I enjoy his transformations, I don't find them necessary to his character. Mainly it's just what was said above, the tragedy of his genius being wasted for evil and, ultimately, unfulfilled.

Edit: Bah! I just realized that Rat King is technically still human, just deformed.

Well upon mutation, Donnie's cockroach combined with the spygear he was wearing and when Baxter was hooked up to the T-Pod Donnie said his armour and Baxter did begin to merge so it would be a strong possibility.

I can Baxter mutating into some sort of horse. I don't know why. And I don't know where you'd find a horse in the city. But there you go.
