Actor playing Shredder/Oroku Saki? (Ken Watanabe?)

Could Shredder/Oroku Saki secretly be Ken Watanabe? Any other guesses to the actor?
Since the secret reveal in the extended 2:30 trailer, we have now heard Shredder's true voice in the Nick BTS. Kevin Eastman made a statement about thinking Ken Watanabe being a perfect Shredder.
The shrouded figure fits and even the voice sounds eerily similar. He was Godzilla and then T4: AoE, so why not? I think he would be perfect as well.

Any other guesses?

Honestly, I'm pretty sure it's because he's the only Asian name brand actor any American remembers. Something about names that sound more like the sounds you make when you violently sneeze, they just don't really etch themselves into your memory.

That guy. THAT GUY has collectively made more money from playing "Shredder" than anybody ever has or ever will. I don't even mean, from everything he does. I mean how much he's made in residuals just from TMNT II. Millions. And Millions. Of dollars. No one has ever had a more profitable weekend job.

I'm most likely wrong but the only thing that makes me think this is why cast an Oscar Nominated Well Known Japanese Actor in such a small bare bones part?

They could have got anyone to play Drift in TF4, the role was barely a stereo type with no real development. It's Not like Watanabe needed it. Why even have a samurai like character in the first place played by a Japanese Actor? Especially marketed to a country that presumably hates Japan...which was the reason in the first place NOT to have a Japanese Shredder.

Hell, even the head of Drift looks like be a subtle hint to Shredder. That with the recently heard voice which sounds very similar to the way Watanabe did Drift and the possibility becomes even stronger... it's almost like he took on the role as a favour for a bigger role in something else.

Peter Cullen was the number one choice from fans to be Optimus Prime, Frank Welker was brought back to be Megatron/Galvatron, We all know who the fan's number one is to be Shredder. Maybe Bay has been holding an ace up his sleeve all along.

That does seem to be the problem from that shot, but the upper lip and eye brows and lower earlobes seem to be just like Watanabe. Especially if you look at an angle of Watanabe slightly similar to that shot. The rest could simply be make up to disguise him from the public.

No worries man, I meant the Official announcement literally from the horses mouth. Maybe I should have just said Watanabe because unitl may 8th I had no idea he was in TF4. Which is what started to get my hopes up in the first place.
