Does anyone know which episode he's going to be in or any info on the episode? I enjoy the show, but I don't always get to watch it because of it's time slot. I don't want to miss this one.

I didn't know he was going to be on it but I watch the show regularly on xfinity so if we don't get any better details before it airs I will definitely let you know. All I'm finding online is its this season but no specific date yet.

He posted on his website under appearences. That's how I found out. And in some interviews he keeps getting named as a major guest so hopefully it'll be a big deal episode and they'll talk about how cool the new comic is. :D

^ that's a big 10-4. First Turtle was in Red Bank and appeared on the show. I'm curious to know what Walt would've offered Kevin if they hadn't known what the asking price earlier this year was.

Interestingly enough, the last time I went to the Stash, they didn't sell TMNT comics or swag. Wonder how Eastman got linked up with the show?

They mentioned that they hooked up on the convention scene.
The Stash has changed a LOT over the years. Its a much much nicer store with a way bigger selection.

I gotta admit, I wasn't that impressed with this episode. I thought we were gonna see an in depth discussion about the TMNT and see clips of the different films, shows and comic books. Instead it was just Kevin Smith and his pals sitting around shootin' the sh*t.

I loved this episode. It was cool seeing Kevin Eastman bring in the first drawing of Mikey, and then the price that he wanted for it was just..holy wow! But, like Kevin Smith said, that picture spawned billions in sales for merchandise, comics, cartoons, etc. I wish they would have said what charity he was going to donate to.

Before the first sketch, he showed them the rough pencil layouts from issue 1, which I could have sworn were already in a private collection. Maybe it was a different set? Regardless, they looked really cool. It's not in the scene linked above.

Jeph, that is hardly what Comic Book Men is about. The show is literally the podcast where they sit around talking ad shootin' the sh*t, and then they do stuff like on 'Pawn Wars' but with geek stuff like comic books, toys, etc. I prefer the podcast stuff, and how the stuff in the store influences the podcast but meh, it is what it is. The Eastman ep was pretty decent compared to most other episodes. (But I am also a fan of the podcasts :tsmile: )

Yeah, On the show, Someone usually comes in with a rare collectable item, On this same episode, Someone came in with a rare Banner, that was used during the release of the 1st Star Wars film in 1977. So the show usually shows some rare vintage items.
