Has anyone ever thought about what other animals the producers could have used instead of turtles and if so, would it have been as much of a sucess as the Turtles? It helps if it rhymes with the rest of the title, (Teenage Mutant Ninja Newts?).....lol

Look who's talking...keep in mind this is also one of those typical "Mirage-retarded" people who thinks TMNT started as the cartoon. Here was his reaction to after I told him about how it really started:

I think it has to do with a turtle being so small and slow and a ninja being so big and agile. Reality-wise, it would be impossible to have the two combined as one. Kevin probably created a turtle as a ninja just for laughs or pure enjoyment and never thought it would grow as popular as it is today. Why did Bob Kane choose a bat, or Stan Lee choose a spider? It's hard to figure out where these guys come up with such ideas. I'm just happy they're here now with us. :)
