I was watching Treehouse of Horrors earlier and I just realised something, Kang (You know Kang and Kodos) must be a rip-off of Krang, their both aliens and their names are only one letter different from each other. Kang and Kodos first appeared shortly after the original TMNT series began so it's possibly. What do you think?

totally agreed, i was actually beginning to think you calmed down a bit, but i guess we have to deal with this frustration ALL over again...

Kang and Kodos are actually homages to classic 50's Sci-fi movies. By the way, just cause something is similar it doesn't make it a rip-off. :roll:

Speaking of homages, Fly Baxter from 80s toon has to be a homage to The Fly, right?

and the names are original as well

I always thought they were an homage to Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" since the aliens there are described exactly like Kang and Kodos look like!

In the original Star Trek series episode "Day of the Dove", there's a Klingon named Kang...sorry to burst your bubble.
