I wish people would stop saying that. Turtle DNA is different than human DNA. Also, to be in love with someone, there is going to be a point in the relationship where sexual intercourse will come into play, whether it be by talking about it or trying to act on it.

How can any sane person be in love with someone and yet never have any type of physical contact -- apart from hugging and the occasional kiss on the cheek?

It doesn't work, and it won't work between April and the turtles.

Just to correct a few things there...

Depending on how the mutagen works, the TMNT may either have human DNA mixed in with their turtle DNA (more human than turtle obviously), or the mutagen hyper evolved the TMNT to become humanoid without the aid of human DNA. So, we really don't know for sure if the TMNT have human DNA or not.

Now, as for sex, why would you think that the TMNT are incapable of having sex with human females? The TMNT obviously have a very "human" form, so wouldn't their genitals connect perfectly with women genitals? I really don't see how it's so "impossible" as you make it seem to be.

What it comes down to is this.
The TMNT CAN have relationships with females. They CAN have sex with females. And there is more or less a 25-50% chance that they can conceive a child.

Now, as for this whole thing with April... Nah, it most likely wouldn't happen with the boys. Still, there's plenty of fish in the sea for the boys, so all hope is not lost. :D

If yer talkin about reptile/mammal compatibilty, there's no way. For one we are endothermal, they are ectothermal. They have 3 chambered hearts, we have four. There is no way, in real life, a reptile and a mammal can make a baby.
Now the idea of a TMNT mating with a human, I don't see why not. They are men, turtles are horny animals and even though, techinically, their wangs are stored in their tails it could call for some creative positions. So I don't see why not. Real turtles are pretty big in the anatomy, the guys have got to be huge! :lol: (I got flashed today by Donnie! :o He wants to mate I guess but Jessie's busy being buried and snoozing....)I could get into more detail if anyone is curious about turtle reproduction. It's actually pretty interesting, how an animal who's body is enclosed in a boney frame could even mate! (sorry WeaponX I went back and edited hehe! He's only annoying in the new toon, and that's only because of the writers. Pretty much everywhere else (old toon, Mirage books, Image series, movies) he's an awesome character.

I've mused this one....with figures as kinda a future "what if" senerio....I used have Raph, cause the lil' turtle i used as their son (I called him Yoshi, after great-grandpa, and the kid from TMNT 3), but outside of that, I just assume Leo. I mean they adapted him from his Mirage comics roots from a mean trigger-happy thug, to a funny sarcastic, cranky, witty, sardonic character, that was succesuful. And OMG he went so well with the classic toon tone and feel of the series. I honestly believe that a good deal of the classic toon success was because of Raphael's character and personallity. He brought a certain edge to the series that was great.
