April's secret origin

I don't know if this topic has been discussed but is anyone else dying to know about April true origin? From Renet's comment about how she will not be seeing things through her "human eyes"! What does that mean? Is April an alien and a mutant? If she is that would explain why she and Casey can't have kids. Anybody else want to give their opinion. :tconfuse:

I believe April has an Irish background. She has red-hair and her last name is O' Neil.

In the Mirage comics, April's hair is all frizzy and tight curls, but that was a perm she got in TMNT # 2. Her hair is naturaly red/chestnut brown and straight.

And yes that Sons of the Silent Age issue's cover is of April's face merged with the fish people's
