April's secret origin

I don't know if this topic has been discussed but is anyone else dying to know about April true origin? From Renet's comment about how she will not be seeing things through her "human eyes"! What does that mean? Is April an alien and a mutant? If she is that would explain why she and Casey can't have kids. Anybody else want to give their opinion.
