Maybe this might help with the 'Olly Olly Oxen Free':
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olly_olly_oxen_free I'm sure there are better sources than wikipedia out there but it's something to start from at least. This was also interesting from the wikipedia page: Quote:

Is it me or have we been getting a lot dark episodes lately?
Heck, I dare even say the Nick series is becoming progressively darker than the 2003 series. It's kinda disturbing to watch this show nowadays... Generally I dislike the Nick series because it seems like a rushed product. Every episode has notable flaws and plot holes, like in the ''In Dreams'', the physicist purposely went far away and PUT UP A CONVENIENT STORE so that whoever accidentally happened to stumble across the same area would surely find him, and he conveniently keeps this so secretive and important device of his on a table where anyone can take a peek when he's not looking. I mean gee, what a dumbass. |
I don't know if any one noticed this, but you have
April Burnie Casey Donnie And conveniantly you get A B C D I know Burney is a one off character that we may see again after all he has been named and he knows of the Turtles. Not that he could tell anyone to begin with because no one would believe him. |
Loved the beavers and that Jim Siedow look-a-like shop owner. I'm glad they've gotten all these appropriate actors to play those small roles.

This episode was the first episode of season three that I didn't like. The story and presentation just wasn't interesting. I'm not enthusiastic on them getting big name actors to voice for characters that reference a movie they were featured in to make the episode better. That is reaching recent Simpsons episode territory. I really couldn't stand the Leo and Mikey dream sequences. I get that this version of Leo is a lot more loose and has a child like innocence but it still seems out of character for him to just run around with the power of speed not even bothering to wonder how and why he got this ability. Leo is smarter than that. And Mikey's dream,.....:-? To the staff that work on the show, this is seriously adding salt to the wounds when it comes to Michelangelo's intelligence. A video game world would have been more suitable, maybe a spoof of Five Nights at Freddy's. They still don't understand that we'd like to see him treated better than this. It's like on one hand, they listen to fans when it comes to fan service but on the other hand, they ignore others who want better character development. I did like Raph's dream and was amused at his brothers rocking out in the background. This episode however, was just bleh! But I'm sure the next episode will interest me more. |
I'm just waiting for them to get back to New York to take on Shredder and his cronies again, and the Kraang of course. I haven't enjoyed the farm house eps too much. They've been mostly a filler for me.

I enjoyed the first four episodes but this one was just meh.

Also like I said before, I really hate the plot holes. Literally in every episode I can't help but notice how some things just don't make sense at all, and I just facepalm inside my head every time. Don't get me wrong, I really like the new series but I really wish I could like them more.

Olley Olley Oxen Free was something we used to say as kids when playing Hide and Seek all of the time, so I recognized it immediately.

Honestly, trying to [almost] never sleep would be a miserable existence... just let the beavers eat you and be done with it. |

So what did everyone think of the new added lay out to the Farm House with Donnie's guest room? Unless the bed rooms are just boxes with a bed in it like Donnie's room. I don't see more then four rooms at max. Plausible lay out for me at first was April had her own room, Casey had his own room. Raph and Mikey share a room, Leo and Donnie share another room. Or Leo and Raph one Room with Donnie and Mikey in the other. Now I'm starting to think it's April has her own room, Casey bunks with Raph and Mikey, Leo has his own room and Donnie has his own room. |

I can also imagine that Donnie was the one who was innitially looking after Leo. After all in the 1990 movie Raph ran off and got hurt after getting into an arguement with Leonardo. And Leo watches over Raph as he heals because he feels responcible for what happened. In the Invasion Donnie had gotten into a dispute with Leo over how to fight the Kraang, so he feels responcible for what happened to Leo because he had argued with him. So it would be plausible that Donnie could have spent a number of nights barely eating and hardly sleeping and such until Raph feels enough is enough and takes over the Leo watch. Or maybe that's why Raph vounteered to keep watch because while he hadn't been privy to the argument itself, he did hear Donnie beating himself up when they were leaving the city. And if Donnie was watching over Leo they were more likely to end up with two sick turtles not just one. |
