Do you think that Bishop's suit is not the only thing that The Kraang copied? How else would they copy the Real Mrs. O'Neil's memories for the experimental clone that they deemed too dangerous.

As much as I adore Splinter in this show, I wouldn't mind if that happened at all. It'll certainly shake up the status quo and allow for some interesting changes. My only fear for that would be that Karai wouldn't get proper closure of some sort with Splinter.

Splinter was the only one who wasn't killed by the black hole. If they stop that from happening and save everyone from being killed by the black hole in the first place, perhaps it wouldn't apply to Splinter since he died by other means.

When the turtles will stop the Triceratons and heart of darkness, I expect the turtles will be returned to a point in time inbetween the episodes The Fourfold Trap and Dinosaur Seen in the Sewers so another story will happen

The Turtles, April and Casey probably won't remember anything from the final and everything they do in space because they will be changing time by stopping the Triceratons coming to earth and even destroying earth so that means everything will change.

Splinter will live because the Triceratons will never come to earth and Splinter won't go and ask Shredder for help because the turtles will be changing time but Splinter could end up dieing anyway but by some other way maybe in the season 4 final.

If they returned to that point in time, wouldn't there be another set of turtles running around?

I don't think normal time travel will work here. In Take of the Yokai, the turtles returned to their timeline after they originally left to go time traveling, and never had the chance to run into their past selves. And since they were always meant to go back in time, they didn't actually change anything in their timeline.

This time, I feel like they need to make a whole new timeline or something without themselves in it (somehow), so that when they return they aren't displacing themselves. (Unless this is what you meant, in which case 'd agree with you.) With normal time travel they'll just run into themselves again since they'll be returning to a point in time when their old selves haven't left with the Fugitoid and so are still doing whatever they've been doing.

But of course I know nothing about time travel, so I could be wrong on all counts. :P

That actually really sucks for Raph. He'll have forgotten all about Mona. Not to mention the rest of the characters too since it feels like they'll learn a lot in space, especially considering they have Splinter's death and the earth's destruction hanging over their heads.

Personally I'm not a fan of any story that require the characters to forget what they've done; it really seems like it takes away any chance for any development that could have resulted from their journeys. Like with Optimus Prime/Orion Pax in Tranformers Prime. He forgot all about his Decepticon adventures, and thus never grew from that experience, which was a big disappointment because that was exciting, but it felt like it was treated as unimportant by the show and things simply moved on.

If he does still live even after the turtles fix things, I'm not against him dying again. But of course that means he needs to die twice and now that I think about it I'm not sure if the show would do that.

Did anyone see the teleport thing as a reference to the Archie where they used the timeslip to teleport from the Stratoray spaceraft into Malinga's hive (just in time before getting shot by Malinga's fighter spaceraft).

While Splinter is virtually a lock to come back, I'd love to see the following:

The Turtles find someway to change time (Renet or wormhole), but ultimately have to decide between saving the planet and saving Splinter.

The world is saved, but Splinter still gets stabbed by Shredder.

The Turtles could then have one last chance to say their goodbyes before Splinter actually dies.

Wow, just... wow. :teek: really surprised they showed the episode on a Monday. Yahh for having the day off but yeah very shocking to off Splinter.

They wouldn't be time traveling, simply reversing time. Ala Superman: The Movie, which would also be why there wouldn't be another set of turtles or April/Casey, being on the ship would protect them from the wake of the time vortex. Therefore they wouldn't change while everything on Earth would.

cryan 09-28-2015 03:20 PM

Well there goes April's dad as well.

BubblyShell22 09-28-2015 03:47 PM

Sorry, VA, but I have to disagree with you on April. The thing before was that her powers were activated because of the Kraang since she's part Kraang. Shredder isn't a Kraang so there should have been no reason for her to do that despite how she witnessed Splinter's death. She shouldn't have been able to do that anyway and shouldn't have had the right to. That right should have gone to the Turtles, not her. She's a Mary Sue because Mary Sues often also best the villains, and that's what she did.

April did not defeat Shredder she just pushed him away using her powers and anyway, Shredder defeated himself by suicide.

Zak The Neutrino 09-28-2015 04:02 PM

I loved the episode. That was a great finale. I can't wait to see how they end up bringing back the earth once their battle in space is done. Can we see some Neutrinos already though? Come on.

Luckyday 09-28-2015 04:08 PM

It's kind of weird that there were no mention of Neutrinos at comic con but what if the reason why they didn't mention because their existence is really spoiler heavy and connected to one of the main characters like how they didn't mention that Karai was going to get mutated.

But still toys would have hinted something.:ohwell:

Most of the times where she does use her powers she is under physical duress.

During the times she us consciously using using her powers, they easily take form. But when April struggles against her powers it causes her pain.

If you look at the way she clutches at her head like it's about to explode before she gives that psychic blast in the season finally she is clearly trying to fight the power from erupting.

And there have been there have been times where the she has used her powers in situations where she isn't near the Kraang.

For example

During the Within the Woods there is a moment where she runs headlong into the Creep and looks at him with a frightened look. Then the next shot we see her groaning with pain as she arrives at the farm house. There isn't a moment where she was shown getting away from the Creep so it's plausible that while she is unconscious she sends an astral projection to warn Leo they were all in trouble.

Mom thing again (not really part of the Kraang, though Kraang related) she uses her powers, but under great duress because her friends had all been swallowed by Mom thing and she was going to have the same fate.

She consciously uses her powers to tap into the Psyche of each of the Turtles to try and get them to wake up, and later does the same thing to help restore Splinters mind.

And in Pig and Rino, there is a moment where she senses Bebop when he's sneaking up on Donnie and herself.

You could make a case though in all those examples where Kraang influenced. Her "Mom" was created by Kraang and all mutants are created by mutagen, Kraang based if you buy the theory that Kraathatrogon is Kraang related. So in essence, those examples still tie in to Kraang relations.

And in the last ex. that really was more because as April put it, she sensed him because "He wouldn't shut up."

He only starts yapping after he initially struck. When they are leaving the cleaners April starts to call Leo to let him know that Karai wasn't there when she gasps in pain. When Donnie asks her whats wrong she says "I sense we are being watched." And the two ready themselves for their attacker all the while we see Bebops prints sneaking up behind Donnie and striking him and then Bebop starts taunting them giving away his location.

Alright, gotcha. But still, being mutated, he has mutagenic blood, mutagen based, thus is still Kraang influenced was the point I initially meant.
