Yeah! :tgrin:

Also... Pulverizer never took off his costume... When does he wash that thing? :tconfuse:

The ep was mostly about the Turtles dealing with fighting with different weapons... and then no weapons. Oh, and that the Pulverizer was going to be in it. So the ep basically delivered. Although early in the episode, I almost thought Shredder was hinting on making robot Foot Soldiers.

I liked seeing the Dragon Choppers and that scene where the turtles were chasing them with the music playing in the background was almost movie-like. I enjoy how this show can go from goofy to serious in a matter of seconds. I was on board for Timothy being mutated because, really, there wasn't anything left for him after this episode in my opinion. His Pulverizer gimmick would have gotten stale. Not the best episode but I found it entertaining for the most part!

The reason this is posted as ep 23 is because the next episode was supposed to be Parasitica, but they decided to swap airing dates. Not sure why, though... *shrug*

The second I saw the Foot choppers, my thought was, "I see an OC Choppers project coming in the near future..."

Felt bad for Timothy... it looked painful. :( Having him in a container in Don's lab is going to be disturbing, not to mention his disappearance is bound to raise some heads up on the ground level.

So I guess that means Timothy will magically disappear from any lair shots in the next ep?

Donatello. Donatello Donatello Donatello. Great character moments for him this episode.

What happened to Pulverizer was sad, but inevitable. I had hoped we'd see him get better as a fighter before this mutation, but alas.

"Coins!" LOL

Mikey's imitation of Leo was fantastic.

I don't quite believe that the Turtles have NEVER bothered to familiarize themselves each other's weapons. It seems a bit far-fetched. In all their years of training, Splinter never said, "Hey! Change it up, once in a while."?

I like the added drama that it brought, though. It made the final fight entertaining.

They will probably keep him in Don's lab. And man I agree! Donnie had some amazing battle scenes in this one! So much for being on the A- team! ;)

Seeing as how they do the same thing with April, a main character, we probably wouldn't of seen him anyway...

That's a good point... Guess she's taking all this pretty hard.

Some early thoughts:

- interesting that they decided to turn him into Mutagen Man. I was Team Newtralizer for his character but started to change mind about halfway thru the episode when they were foreshadowing MM (the comic book, them discussing complications)

- I like how Donnie is very protective and feels responsible for Timothy. It's tough for me to sympathize with what happened to him because he is so annoying. I've never liked the character so don't really care what happens to him.

- glad I was wrong about the 'pet' Kraang. It was cool to see the formation of their alliance.

- I hate how easily the Turtles defeat DogPound and FishFace now

- I'm glad they're still keeping up appearances as far as staking out TCRI.

Yep, it's Mutagen Man alright. Am I the only one who actually feels bad for Timothy? I mean grant it, he wanted to turn into a mutant, but I mean what a way to go. When he saw himself in the mirror and he rubbed his tentacle on his face, I felt sorry for him. Pulverizer just wanted to help in his own goofy/klutzy way.

I wonder what April's reaction is going to be when sees him. I was surprised she wasn't in this episode being that she now has to live with the Turtles and Splinter to avoid The Kraang.

I feel bad for him too. At the same time though, I'm mad at him for not listening to the turtles. Now look at him.

To be honest, I kind of feel bad for Snakeweed, Spiderbites, Fishface, and Dogpound for their mutations too. All of them were once human, and it's bad enough that they were mutated. Timothy, however, is young. I hope Donatello really can find a way to restore Timothy, and maybe the other four can get restored somehow as well.

They probably will. They keep doing that sort of thing. If the ep has nothing to with April, she isn't anywhere to be seen, even if she's supposed to be living there. Same goes with Karai. If it's not a Karai episode, she's somehow missing even if she lives there. I assume if the next episode has nothing to do with mutagen or whatever... Mutagen Man will be nowhere to be seen either.

I actually was asking the same question. Maybe she sneakily went to Irma's house and told her she's going to be gone for a couple of days... think the scene in Casablanca with Rick (Humphrey Bogart) and llsa (Ingrid Bergman).

Probably so. They do that a lot on this show, I agree.

NinjaMan 05-11-2013 09:59 AM

It might be due to the CGI budget. Maybe they can't have too many characters running around?

Donatello19 05-11-2013 10:00 AM

I'd personally like to see more of Shredder's lair. There has to be a few more rooms, right?

What i'd really like to know is what her aunt thinks of all this...IF she knows of all this.

Having them in the background, or just having them sitting in the lair is not having them "running around", and seeing as how they fit a lot of people on the street of New York in Karai's Vendetta and I, Monster, the whole "too many characters" thing obviously isn't the case.

Yeah, I imagine it gets kinda drafty in there. Even the Shredhead needs a warm bed.

Unless he's so hardcore that he sleeps on the floor... :P

I've been wanting this too. We're used to Shredder having the Technodrome or his huge skyscraper as his lairs in the past. Now we're stuck with one room of what looks like an abandoned museum from the outside.
