That's a repaint of a Primal Rage figure.

So is this gonna be the way with all the guys? They all have the damn fighting gear. So I don;t have to buy Donny, unless he's got a cool dino. But Every guys gonna have a distinct colored dino? Like Leo already has a blue tinted TREX, so Raph'll have red,etc...

I will buy it eventualy although it isn't my top priority.

if this is from season three, why put it out now? no one knows what a t-rex is doing with leo, so why not wait til they do. playmates really disappoints me.

Well, we don't know that it is from season three, really... For all we know, Playmates just tossed the Fighting Gear Leo figure in a package with some repainted dinosaur toy from another line as a quick and cheap 'new' assortment.

I definitely won't be picking this one up. I've already got the Fighting Gear figures, and I've got little use for a big blue dinosaur. ;)

IT saya something on the main site about Leo being sent back through time by a Foot Mystic and he ends up where dinosaurs weren't extinct yet.

i cant wait til don and dinosaur come out. A Big purple dinosaur. Barney anyone? :evilgrin:

It is pretty bizzare though to have figure from season 1 and season 3 comin g out in the same wave..or is that just me?

um guys I don't think there will be any other dino's for the other turtles seeing as it says "leonardo gets sent back alone"
meaning leonardo is the only one in this story....
so perhaps the other guys get sent to other time periods/worlds/universes if so I'd freaking love that!
I want raph vs. Giant Cyborg! or Raph vs. Evil shredder raph haha that'd be great!..man I'd really love if one of them got sent to the old toon universe hahah that'd be a great excuse to bring out some old characters.

I'd like this set a lot if the T-Rex looked halfway decent. That's one of the worst sculpts I've ever seen, it worked fine when representing an unrealistic Primal Rage character, but as a representation of a real T-Rex? :lol: For that matter, it doesn't fit the animated look of the TMNT line at all anyway, so it's a very pointless and awful set.

Yea i agree...if i saw that dino loose somewhere i would NOT believe that it was in the TMNT line..i mean, at least the old dino toys looked like they belonged in the line..oh well...well at least well be aving some new toys hitting the shelves in the upcoming weeks...so i guess that supposed sighting of Quarry was probably wrong..i mean, shes not even in this line so i doubt shes out now...but i guess well see...never what surprises are comin up, what with this dino crap and all...

I like the look of this new set. Leo vs. T-rex in a large window box. It looks appealing to me and probably lots of kids as well. I will be buying this for display, and one for my 3 year-old brother who loves both Leo and T-rex. It's a dream come true for him.

This pack is seriously twisted. Might be kind of fun though, in an evil way. Of course, if I really wanted a TMNT vs Dinosaur fest, I could go to Wal-Mart and buy some crappy plastic T-Rex for like 3 bucks.

After really looking at that I see two things wrong with it
I didnt like the battle armor turtles why cant it come with a normal Leo?And the T-rex isnt that great looking. Ill buy it if I have the extra cash which I probly wont so Ill be passing on this after all

I'm imagining $19.99...not bad for the material used, but it's also about $20 too high for what it is.

With one foul swoop, Playmates just cured my "completist" goals with this line. Oh well, no more Turtles resculpts I feel I have to buy, so I guess I'll thank them for making this piece of crap set. :)

The battle armour figures are actually terrific toys, once you remove all the goofy armour. They're basically just 'super-poseable' TMNT figures. Aside from a weak knuckle joint, I'd say they're entirely better than the original releases.

Well, the packaging does say alone so I don't think anyone else will come with a dino, but maybe they'll have different Time Travel sets for the turtles. I wonder if this is a chance to release Acient Japan Shredder?

That would be awsome....Send each turtle to a different period in time.

I just wonder if this is Playmates way of testing the waters to see how bigger figures will sale. Like Draco and Splinter's 4 armed friend from the Battle Nexus Tournament. If it was Draco in that Box with Leo I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I think they'd get a much more accurate test if they put out a figure people actually wanted. Robot Baxter? Seeing how that sales would show how many people want large scale figures, not testing some kit-bashed set from an Episode that no one has seen (and that very well may not even be in the new series...Playmates has written their own stories in the past).

Yes, but you also gotta see it from their point of view.....If they're testing the market for something, they're taking a chnace...If they're gonna take the chance of something flopping they may as well just re-use old figures so they don't lose too much money.

hmm maybe we could see:
*a justice force multi pack(stainless steel steve, Zippy Lad, Elognated man, Metalhead, and Ananda (save 5 bucks, maybe!)
*Dr Dome in his big dome walker, with domoids
*Nano with Harry and Scientist
*Garbageman with Junk trooper
*Baxter stockman, Mob Boss and CaW robot
*the moster at the arena with prime leader or traximus
*splinter and Dracco or his four armed friend

yea, itll be neat to see what comes out of this trex thing...more multipack large sets would be great for the line...i mean for the most part its been just solo figs and vehicles...so i hope this thing sells well

That is very likely since they mentioned time travel for season 3.

I would like to know what's going on with the toys. I mean it's cute to bring back some of the old Playmates models but they need to focus more on the show! What about TMNT in their outfits from Fallen Angel or in Golden Puck?? I mean they should make the figurines closer to what they are in the actual show. I mean Baxter Stockman figurine that is suppose to be coming out looks NOTHING like he does in the episodes. Before they get so far ahead with figurines like usagi they need to focus on the earlier episodes first like the Garbageman, Dragon Face, Baxter Stockman (i mean we could have various Baxters), Fallen Angel TMNT, Dr. Finn and Parker Figurine, more mystic foot (they should have released the fire one with the rest of them), Mr. Mortu, General Blanc (or whatever that guy's name was in TIS), Rynokk, Traximus, Jack Kirby, Some of the warriors from the King and so on and so on. I mean they have tons to make besides the Mutation ones and the Ninja Action ones.
