TMNT pie? who tasted it
Okay I remember seeing the commercial for it but I never could find it in the stores, what did it taste like, look like, etc.? (was it like those 30 cent fruit pies you see in the stores choclate filled, fruit filled, etc in a pastry shell?

Basically, it was a Hostess Vanilla pie, but had a green crust instead of the standard crust.

I tasted Turtle Pie before. Pretty good. Of course I stopped eating them once I found out what those pies were made of. But nonetheless I enjoyed them.

The crust was made out of beef tallow, which is fat from the stomach lining of cows. Actually, Hostess pies are STILL made out of that today. The filling was pudding, though.

I used to like those TMNT pies... alot of people have said they hated them, but I thought they were good. Back when I was collecting everything TMNT, I actually saved the pie wrappers... hah!

Yeah I ate em. I was a dumb kid man. I grew up getting anything tmnt. The cereal and the juice boxes with the archie comic covers on the side. Hell I would use TMNT toilet paper if they made it.

That's not dumb. It's loyalty. I ate the cereal all the time and drank the juice boxes, too. But as for the toilet paper, if there were such a thing as TMNT butt tissue I wouldn't use it. It is said that colored toi-toi hurts the heiny. And since the chosen color would most likely be green...

Good idea. We've seen just about everything based on TMNT. But we haven't seen any cereal based on the new toon. What should such a cereal have? Marshmallow Utroms? Shell-shaped cereal like Crispix or the turtles' weapons? All three?
And as for the pasta, I think it would be nice to see some TMNT shaped pasta again with Utrom meatballs. |
Not like Cripix but more like Lucky Charms or something! With tons of marshmellows!! I mean they have a Yu Gi Oh cereal already. I would prefer now something like TMNT Mac and Cheese :D

Well I knew they had some kind of cartoon with the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese thing! But yeah cereal is good! I heard they are making icecream again..by the company blue bunny but I haven't seen it anywhere.

Jumbo-sized and insanely messy, children who ate Turtle Pies were easily identified by the amount of gloppy off-white (or sometimes green, memories differ) vanilla crud hanging around their lips, served with a gruesome collection of green food particles staining their teeth like villain characters in an animated Crest toothpaste commercial.
