Is there plans for Orig. Season Two DVD?

I'm sure people have asked this before but I must have missed it. Has anyone heard any news on if they are going to release a Season Two of the Orig. Series? Alot of times they wait to see if Season One sells enough to put out Season Two. From what I have heard everyone has picked one up so has there been anything on Two?

KROW 08-11-2004 11:17 PM

There's no official news on it, no. But I can tell you my theory: YES. I have a strong feeling that TMNT Season 2 will be released. When is something I cannot say, of course. But I firmly believe that we'll see Season 2 of the old toon on store shelves.

It would make sense for them to release it, so here's hoping.

Was the episodes that they put on the first DVD excluding the bonus episodes all from Season 1? Because that's not a lot! LOL I wish they would release a bunch of them instead of just selecting 5. They need to put more Red Sky episodes on DVD but not the bad ones for crying out loud!! I am talking about "GET SHREDDER", "CYBER TURTLES", "CRY HAVOC". All those good ones!

Jester 08-12-2004 12:10 PM

yep that's all of season one...just 5 ep. miniseries.....i think it may have been a testing ground...if the 1st season flops....then whe don't need 9 more.....obviously it did fairly well.
KROW nice new avitar.....i love ryan stiles!!!

Kazari 08-12-2004 12:31 PM

Yeah I love Ryan from "Whose Line is it anyways?"

Albrecht 08-12-2004 03:51 PM

Spitfire 08-12-2004 04:17 PM

Deathknight 08-12-2004 05:41 PM

I wish I still had the e-mail address of the person in chrage of the project. That's how we first found out about the first dvd release when it was going to be the epic begins.

Hey its the JESTER!! anyway I am off topic, I only have one thing to say!! They had BETTER RELEASE SEASON 2 ON DVD!!!!!!!

Kazari 08-12-2004 10:39 PM

I am waiting for Red Sky on DVD dangit!! LOL

Jephael 08-13-2004 07:30 AM

They already got Red Sky on DVD, LOL! But seriously, I'd rather see them release 1988 along with the first red sky season from 1994, before all that stupid bull-crap with Dregg and Carter started.

Kazari 08-13-2004 08:10 AM

Yeah I was talking more along the lines of early Red Sky before Dregg or early Dregg not later on stuff when everything started to get crazy! Now like I said some Dregg episodes I can tolderate like "Split Second" and "DoomQuest."

PizzaPower 08-13-2004 04:26 PM

I don't care what they release as long as it is the old TMNT!!!

J Legault 08-13-2004 11:46 PM

I can picture a Complete Season 2 with a 2 Dsics to fit all 13 episodes. Many of these ones I never seen before. I'm hoping to see more of the Classic TMNT, cause I'm still a novice on the series, i know the New Series more than the old.

So I'm sure there'll be more seaason DVDs, some people who haven't seen the entire series like me need to get it.

Kazari 08-14-2004 07:55 AM

Yeah I wish they could extras on them as well.

Mobius One 08-14-2004 09:37 AM

I really hope that they do release a Season 2 DVD set, and then each Season after that. That would be nice...

avervisal 08-14-2004 09:42 AM

i'm always up for buying TV series, so I'd definitely buy it if it were TMNT related :D

Kazari 08-14-2004 09:55 AM

Well hopefully they'll release it near Christmas because I am way too broke to buy it! LOL

Deathknight 08-14-2004 10:51 AM

considering Season 1 was $10.99 at Best Buy I think it would be a joke to say you can't afford it.

Orochi Chimera 08-14-2004 01:56 PM

I wonder how well the first season dvd did in sales.

Kazari 08-14-2004 03:37 PM

I have no clue! I haven't seen it around so maybe it's a good sign that it sold!
