Does Armorized Shredder actually exist?
 

As you can probably tell from either my screen name, avatar, or signature, I'm a huge Shredder fan, especially the Shredder from the new series. As such, I really, really, really, really, really, really want the Armorized Shredder action figure. However, I haven't been able to find it anywhere I have looked, and believe me, I have looked.

Here's the list of places I have checked in the past month (as best as I can remember):
4 Wal-Mart Supercenters
2 regular Wal-Marts
2 Toys R Us stores
4 Meijer stores
3 Targets
1 KB Toys
2 K-Marts
1 Alco

So, I'm just wondering, has anybody here actually seen an Armorized Shredder in its package on a store shelf? Or is the existence of Armorized Shredder simply a rumor or practical joke intended to send me on some sort of wild-goose chase?

I'm starting to wonder...

well, the Armourised Shredder has been released in Australia, although, they're not as easy to find as say the Fighting gear TMNT. So, yes Armourised Shredder does exist :)

Utrom Shredder, send me an e-mail at [email protected] if you want me to pick you up an Armorized Shredder. Around here they're very findable. I noticed you mentioned checking Meijer in your post...Meijer is only in 5 states in the US, so we have to be pretty close to each other? (KY, OH, IN, MI, and...TN?)

Anyway, shoot me an e-mail, and I'll be more than happy to hook you up. I'm heading out tomorrow looking for my Utrom, and I'm pretty confident I could score an A. Shredder.

Yea, those aromorized shredders are definaetly out there, as i have a couple. Just today at target, i noticed they brought more of the older waves, including this shredder, with the new wave (utroms, divin turtles, etc.) of which I bought all of the 10 that were stocked!! But anyways, there out there..hope Clone can help you out...

You probably can't find one because the figures been out for a few months now and has been cleared from sheleves to make room for the next two waves. When it was a new figure, I saw them all over the place and I can STILL find them now.

No offense but dude why do you need 10 of the same toy? Your the reason why when I go to the store I cant find what I want and I end up having to go to other stores......

I thought that same thing when I read his post...but I think he might have meant they stocked 10 unique figures (4 Diving, SS, Utrom, Guadian, Tric, Mozar, Fugitoid?), and he bought one of each.

Or maybe he's hoarding an army of Shredders. :lol:

I got one when they came out, sadly I lost one of the foot clips, so my shredder has no spikey feet! :lol:

I've been seeing a lot of Armorized shredder's recently, keep looking, they should be popping up.

I once lost my Casey's hockey mask, so I went out and bought another one and I glued the mask on so I have a masked version and an unmasked version.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll just keep looking myself. No offense, but I like to pick up the toys myself so I can find the perfect one, as I'm sure everyone knows how sometimes the paint-jobs can be sloppy. I just posted this message because I wanted to make sure that Armorized Shredder actually exists.

That's interesting about Meijer. I always thought they were a national brand like Wal-Mart. My official residence is in northern Indiana, but I'm starting college this week at Purdue, which is located more toward central Indiana.

i wish the original shredder was as easy to get ahold of around here. i really liked the light blue paint on that one. :D

You find me Armorized Shredder, and I'll find you the original. I always see the original Shredder on the shelves at my toy store, almost without fail.

I also must say that Utrom Shredder doesn't live all that far from me and that I, like Utrom Shredder, also go to a Big Ten university. Small world. :D

Armourised Shredder is still shipping here at least. They had tonnes of them at k-Mart today. I bought my second one to open and am feeling pretty stupid as it's basically the same toy as the first version (didn't realise how similar the moulds were).

Yes i live in Virginia and yes i ahve seen him 3 times, jsut keep looking. my stores don't even have the new toys yet, bleeping space turtles.

I just bought an Amorized Shredder last night at a Meijer, plus the Toddler Turtles...

oh, and according to my parents Meijer stores are starting to show up in Illinois as well... they're slowly trying to set their roots into the entire midwest and become national, like Target...

any of dose stores coming into Virginia?

I picked up a second A Shredder last night for custom purposes, and passed on at least 3 more, so they're out there. Targets and TRU's.

I believe there are a couple of Meijer stores in parts of the city of Chicago, but I've driven past ones in St. Charles, Elgin, and Hoffman Estates as well. So yeah, they're starting to show up here.

Yah know, I've had troubles finding it back when it first came out... then past Christmas... but now, Armorized Shredder is just about the only non-turtle varient I can find these days.... and I'm STILL too broke ta get it.

Today I found Armorized Shredder in the strangest of places. While walking home I took a wrong route and ended up on the wrong side of the highway, so me and my bud decided on the walk back to the quaint little over pass in our quaint little New York burrow we found a 99 cents super store, we went to the toys section and past the bootleg Spiderman figures(they're getting better, newest one i saw was of Marvel legends Battle damaged Spiderman with movable lizard stand, then again the lizard was blue :P ) I found a batch of TMNT figures. First was regular mikey, then came an extreme turtle, then a foot soldier(one figrue I desperetely need) and then Armorized Shredder for $8.99. now by this point in the day I had spent my earnings on a Comander Mozar figure, so I hadn't the money, however this figure isn't going anywhere so I have a reserve If I don't find him anywhere else.
