First movie (just saw it last night...)
Ok. Last night was the first time that I'd seen the first movie and I noticed a lot of things (other than that the new cartoon didn't follow the movie at all...). Did you see the part where the camera's on the house for like, a minute or two and there's a turlte (not sure which) walking by the side of it and suddenly stops and looks down at the ground. I'm sure everybody's seen this, but I hadn't and I just thought it was kinda cool. :P
|
What? Which scene is that in?
|
Umm
I think he's talking about when there at the farm and at one point Don is walking by the house whistling "old Mc Donald had a farm." :P
|
i just saw this movie a couple of nights ago for the first time in ages but i didnt remember even seeing a house... i mean, how cool can it be to see a turtle in a turtle movie?

Yeah, it's when Don or Mikey is walking by the house humming 'Old Mac' (LoL) and he suddenly stops and looks at the ground at something. I laughed so hard at that for some reason (cause it was funny...hardy har har)

Re: Umm
I love that scene too! It's right after they get up to the farm house. I'm pretty sure it's Donny because of the voice. He walks by the side of the house and then it looks like he steps in something unpleasant (hey, a farm house that's been abandoned for years is bound to have something stinky lurking in the high grass). He then back up a couple steps to clean it off the bottom of his foot.
I've loved that little bit because it was completely unnecessary except for the fact that it shows the turtles as regular characters, not just freaks. |
It's Donnie.
I always liked that part too... Dunno why, exactly... but I always liked it. :) |
JO DAWN!!!! *Big hugggg*
but ya I like that part too lol  |

I say it was Mikey. :D
|
I'm pretty sure it's Donny, I can tell by the humming lol
|
Ugh, It's Donnie! Ya can see his purpleness :D
It's so obvious... :D |
Uh, yeah... it's Don. He's purple and he sounds like Corey Feldman. :P
|
It sounds like Corey Feldman, he's got a purple mask and I swear he has a bo in his hand.
Someone maybe get a screenshot? |
Oh geez...Now that I've fast forwarded and rewinded (rewound?) that scene over and over again, I've got 'Old McDonald' stuck in my head....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v125/dirkli/mov01.jpg "Pizza dude's got 30 seconds." I like how Donny acts like such a 'wild guy' in the first movie. He doesn't seem to be like that in the new cartoon at all.... |

A bee? I thought it was a cowpie.
|
why would there be bovine when there were nobody living at the farm to take care of any animals?
|
So animals don't just walk around and leave things?
|
Buslady has a point. It seems strange that there would be cow dung yet no cows. Usually if there is a cow on a farm then the cow will have a master who feeds it and cares for it.
|
dude! Donny is awsome in the movies! he's so much like he was in the old cartoon and not as uptight in the new one... he's like the second Mikey in the movies
*cracks up at KROW's post* animals do but why would there be an animal? i bet you that the neighbors keep their meat locked up safe and it would be a skin and bone cow if it was living on the farm at Aprils.... for some odd reason i cant remember the part with old mac donald.... hmm...... |
LOL Hamato... skin and bone cow!!!
|
funny mental immage eh? the poor cow would be trying to eat the turtles *pauses and then cracks up at the immage*
but when was that part!!!!!!! |
lol poor poor cow is all I have to say...
That cow pie was the last thing it ever let out probably... But it happened when they first get to the farm house I think. I will need to go back and watch the movie again to make sure. |
*grumbles* i should have never let my friend borrow my DVDs!!!! now i must watch!!!!!!!!!!
|
Yeah go over to your friend's house and steal them back.
By the way, you ever notice how us turtle fans always use something like this as an excuse to go back and watch the whole entire movie again LOL. Ya know, we could just throw on the DVD and fast-forward it to that scene to check it out, but NOPE, we gotta start from the beginning of the movie and watch the whole damn thing lol. Can't help it! |
see if you dont you may miss something that explains why that thing happens... or you jsut want to watch the hillarious thing again!
*ponders* i wonder why it was Don and not Mikey humming..... *watches where she is going while walking off thinking but still hits a pole* |
You know, it could have been dogsh**.

now theres a thought! |
Or maybe it was turtle sh*t!??!?!?
Maybe Splinter never potty-trained them!?!?? Ok, sorry... I'll go away now... but first!! *throws Hamato into the tub with Mikey* There ya go... quit runnin into poles silly! :P |
This is a very riveting conversation about s***.
|
LMAO!!!
|
oh be quiet i am going insane!
Mikey + Raph: agreed! Me: oh shut up! uuhhhh what was this topic? oh yah since we are talking about the movie what part was your favorite? |
My favorite part in the first movie is when Leonardo and Shredder are fighting and Leo slices into Shredder's arm and Shredder grabs his arm and realizes how well Splinter has trained them.
None of the other turtles even scratched Shredder except for Leo, and that part just shows how good of a ninja Leo has really become and how his training has paid off. Sure, it's just one slash into Shredder's arm, but Shredder is a very skilled ninja, so it's surprising that Leo even did that much harm to him. It shows why Leo is the leader of the gang. Also, it pissed Shredder off and bought the turtles a little time before Splinter got there. lol. It's kind of a strange part of the movie to choose as my favorite but for some reason I always loved it. One more reason is that it is the one and only time in the movie that Leo actually slashes anyone with the blades of his sword. All of the other times that he uses his katanas, he just uses the blunt parts of them or he punches or kicks his enemies. But considering it was a PG rated movie, it was cool to see that he made Shredder bleed from his swords, and that Leo actually does use his katana blades seriously when the turtles are in their darkest hour. |
