Whoa, I know who did that pic! It was for a TMNT Collectible Card Game they were making on KC and Samus's Totally Tubular TMNT Site! Unfortunatly, the site is no more now. :tneutral:
|
Yeah i know :D i used to collect those cards :P
This is one of the cards i was missing, KC himself mailed it to me... i miss his site it was great, one of my faves. |
Yeah, KC told me he got sick of the internet, so once Go.com ended its free webservice, he decided not to bother putting his site back up on GeoCities,
However, he allowed me to link up to some of his wav files that he had apparently stored on his AOL account. If you'd like to see them, just go to: http://members.aol.com/Jephael/wavs.html |

Well no actually it's not cool that kc didnt put his site up again...what i meant is that it was cool that you had the sound files :dead: i still have all the ccg so if you want and KC agrees i could send em too you and you could host that too :D Quote:

I'm afraid I just don't have enough web space here on AOL for it. I thought about buying webspace on someone else's site, but I just don't feel like dealing with it.

Well, it is and it isn't really.... that's just a clone of Krang but I assume Krang had an identical body before he somehow lost it.
|
If you ever watched the ep "Invasion of the Krangazoids" (which the image was taken from), Donatello explained that even though Krang lost his body, his DNA enabled the clones to mutate and grow bodies themselves. Although, it makes me wonder why Krang never tried using some sort of matter excellerator to try regenerating his own body.

*gasp* He went from "piece of banana" to a whole "banana". Wow, moving up in the world, aren't ya?
|
yep :P
I might even get to call him apple if he really gets on my nerves :tgrumble: So yeah that might not be krang but it still looks like krang...it's his same dna! :sweatdro: :x |
Getting on your nerves, am I? Geez...make a simple comment and get your head chewed off...
Besides, I've only seen Invasion of the Krangezoids once in my life... |

It probably was somewhat how Krang looked when he had a body... what always confused me was how did they "take" Krang's body when they banished him. If he originally body like that would they do surgery or something or did they have some kind of special method...
|
My guess would be some kinda matter-disruption device like what I was talking about earlier (only it reduced him to a brain)
|
Call me a banana
:goofygri: :goofygri: :goofygri: :goofygri:
I'm watching Invasion of the Krangazoids as we speak. I just got past the part where Raph was wondering why the clones were growing bodies but not Krang himself. Donatello explained it all... |
Ok piece of a banana :P
Well i've only seen invasion of the krangazoids once in my life aswell...actually i don't remember if i did watched it...buuuuuut i still think that's how krang should look like more or less :D |
oops!
& I thought he was human!? I was always told Krang was a Humanoid.
|
Well, technically, the body shown on that card and in the episode is humanoid. But he wasn't human, he's always been an alien.
|
ok. But why in the cartoons did he sometimes call himself human? & How did his brain seperate from his body?
|
Re:
Actually, if you remember the episode called "The four muskaturtles" where Krang talked about the impervium gem, it showed several krangs in bubble walkers at an earlier time working with the gem.
|
YEs there were several krang looking creatures. Thast why i tought they were utroms. But it's all because the lack of contininuty in the old show.
|
the way i look at krang and his body, I believe that the krang "brain" form is a de-evolved version himself. i mean he gains back his body in the later part of the new seasons, and about that time we see that the krang brain just evolves back into a full proportioned creature from the DX kick. He lost his body, yes. But he denied the ability to actually morph back into his "old self". I guess bein in our world caused for him to be proned to losing "changling" abilities. Whereas in DX he was in his natural environment and was exposed to a world he body was use to.
But then again this is only my two cents  |
Oh.
Nice pic Mouse, not to get off the subject, who is that of? Gosh, I don't even remember half of those episodes. Sorry. But I still don't know how he lost his body & why he would say that he was human. + How was the Ooze first created? |
We're talking about a show which continuously referred to the turtles as both reptiles and amphibians. I don't think they had all their details together for this show. So little things like Krang saying he was human (which I don't remember him ever saying) slipped through the cracks.
As for Krang losing his body, all we know is that he somehow lost it when he was banished to Earth. There's a fan fic in that idea. *lightbulb appears over her head* Excuse me... *joints down something in her notebook* And the mutagen. In the cartoon, Krang created it. Probably used it to create his rock soldiers. |
Oh! Thanks :)
They DID? Boy! Someone didn't think this all the way through. |
Re:
Actually, in Hot Rodding Teens from Dimension-X, Krang showed a blue print of his old body to the two rock soldiers that came through the portal. He said it got split in two when he got bannished from Dimension-X.
|
The picture looks like his android body that shredder built.
|
Spike: picture is from Darkstalkers, her name is Hsein-Ko or Lei Lei.
And as far as Krang, I think that is one mystery left to the imagination  |
I agree with the theory of him being de-evolved, kinda like in the movie Super Mario Bros. when Koopa had Toad devolved into a Goomba.
