New TMNT Movie gets title!!!

Ok now this just intrigues me... I just went to the internet movie database to check something and rather accidentally found out the title for the new TMNT movie... it's called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Immortal".

So now we have a title and a bit of the plot....it's about an Immortal of some sort.... Hmmm.... :o

That's all it says tho... just the title....nothing more...well except that it's coming out in 2007. :P

And here's the IMDB site for Immortal:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0453556/

raphaelprime 04-12-2005 02:09 PM

The Title will change im about 99% positive it will....IMDB always puts up tentative titles....they did it with Mortal Kombat 3, they've put up maybe 2 or 3 diff. names for it...they did it with Resident Evil Apocalypse as well, they had it as originally RE: Nemesis.....so it'll more than likely change....altho Immortal has a ring to it.

Karpo_007 04-12-2005 02:09 PM

It could be a working title, or just speculation. IMDB has had it's share of false information, so i'd wait for a more official word.

Raph's Girl 04-12-2005 02:13 PM

I checked around other movie sites and they all have this as the title...so for now it's officially "TMNT: Immortal". *shrugs*

But hey.... at least we have a bit of the plot now....

PizzaPower 04-12-2005 02:18 PM

I don't care if they name it **** on a stick. As long as we get some TMNT, I will be happy.

Mandi-chan 04-12-2005 04:10 PM

If that really is the title of the new movie, it sounds good. We'll just have to wait from the official folks to see if it is or not.

cowabunga14 04-12-2005 05:00 PM

I think a one-word subtitle isn't really a good idea. It sounds kinda weird that way. Its almost as if the Turtles are immortal. I wish it was like Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles:Return of the Foot Clan. Or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:Bishop's Apocalypse. Somethin' that has more than a one-word subtitle.

Jester 04-12-2005 05:20 PM

Bishop's Apocalypse...is that another play on 2 X-men names...:p

tormentedvagrant 04-12-2005 06:26 PM

2007?

I don't know if I can wait two years for the movie, but what choice do I have?

Shadow Leonardo 04-12-2005 07:53 PM

That title sounds great. I hope in the future when I'm 16-17 I'll still be intrested in TMNT.I hope it is not like the Pokemon movies or the yugioh movie where the title is usually based on the bad guy or the important object in the movie, seeing that 4kids might release it, no offense to 4kids movies fans out there.

FALLEN ELDOR 04-12-2005 08:07 PM

IMDB is just posted by fans like you and me, anyone can submit the information. This "tentative" title is no more official then me saying it's going to be ttled TMNT in space. :P

Aztec General 04-12-2005 09:19 PM

Yeah, there's nothing "official" about this title. Working titles are a dime a dozen.

TheShowstoppa 04-12-2005 11:20 PM

Anyone who believes dick from imdb needs to be slapped with a large wet trout. That site is about as truthful as me saying I'll stick my penis through a blender and call it a good time :D In all truth, to believe imdb is like believing a crook. They've given false info so many times. The title, even if that is Tentative, will change.

What's wrong with one title names? Anyone remember Batman Returns or Batman Begins?

And believe me, whoever that 14 y.o. is that is a fan who thinks he won't be... I'm 20 in 17 days, and I've never been more of a fan.

I dunno. An apocalypse is like the omega, revelation or ending. It could Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:Bishop's Judgement. Sorta like a judgement day kinda thing. I guess Bishop would have to die in the movie. I dunno.

I hope "Immortal" doesn't refer to Shredder.

I totally agree with that :D ....Arggh I can't wait 2 years for this

Shreddette 04-13-2005 12:38 PM

If Shredder is in this movie, he better be a hunky piece of man meat.

I doubt it though. Sigh.

Jephael 04-13-2005 01:31 PM

I like the sound of this film.

Seurat 04-13-2005 01:33 PM

...

I don't know if anyone in the movie will necessarily be immortal; maybe it's a reference to the Turtles' seemingly immortal legacy; as long as there are fans who keep watchin' the turtles, they'll live forever in our hearts.

I should consider working for Hallmark...

zkarlette 04-13-2005 01:40 PM

yeah I hope thats what they mean by inmmortal too ...... :ohwell: but lets see what happens ....

cowabunga14 04-13-2005 07:22 PM

How 'bout Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:Immortal Legacy? Huh? What do you guys think of that?

TigerClaw 04-13-2005 07:46 PM

I'm willing to suspect that the title of Immortal might be an indication that, Utroms will be involved?, Utroms are known for living for a very very long time.

cowabunga14 04-14-2005 12:08 PM

I'm hopin' this movie will be really dark and gritty like the old comics. That'd be great. I hope Triceratons are the movie. Fugitoid should be on the movie too.

Wow...I am going to be 20 years old when this movie comes out. That is so wierd to think about, and makes it seem so fatr away.

Better go get that blender started for a good time :p

They're always accurate on all aspects of all the films that exist, in my experience. It's just a working title that they've been told like all these other sites don't blame them.

Me too, and I'm 27, married, and have a baby coming any day now!

Jester 04-15-2005 07:35 PM

Congrats J14:6. Lets us know the stats when (s)he's born...:P

Ditto! Good luck with the little one! Thought of any names? Mike or April are always good...! Heh heh heh!

cowabunga14 04-16-2005 04:54 PM

I think a good name for a boy would be Willard or Abraham. And a good name for a girl would be Bertha or Esther. Bruce would also be a good name for a boy.(Bruce Campbell ha ha)

John 14:6 04-17-2005 07:53 AM

Thanks all! We'll be having a boy and naming him Christopher after my wife's father. Thursday was the due date but nothing's happened yet. We have an appointment to induce the pregnancy on Tuesday.

cowabunga14 04-17-2005 02:13 PM

Well good luck dude. Christopher's a popular name and its a good one. It means "Christ bearer."

Hannah 04-17-2005 03:01 PM

YAY!!!

*clings to TMNT blanket* yay yay yay yay!! ^.^

But man... this better go to theatres, because if it goes straight to dvd or something, I am going to beat the sh*t out of EVERYONE. ^^;

LOL! Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I'm just awaiting a new movie. It's been over ten years... an official name would be nice, but the official release would be better!

Spitfire 04-20-2005 11:45 PM

Eh that names not so bad atleast it doesnt have porksword in the title

Misfit 04-21-2005 07:27 PM

Wait, there's a NEW MOVIE? Since when? Live action or animation?

I really need to visit more, I am so completely out of the loop with what's going on in TMNT World. *sigh*
