Who is the best ninja turtle of all time? I think Leonardo is. Please vote now!

lol ya i know ppl have been doin a lot of polls lately, but it keeps everyone's pulse up on the forums and keeps em thinking. I like to do these "who's the best" type of polls at least once a year just to see if people's overall opinions of certain characters or other things have changed.

Might as well do the "Favorite series of Action Figures" poll. :lol:

There's no such thing as over all best TMNT.
They're each good at something. They each have unique traits and characteristics.

Now if the poll was more specific, then it would be more feasible.

Like, if it was a poll of who's the best fighter, it would be Leo.

If it was a poll of who's the best technician, it would be Donnie.

If it was a poll of who's the best at loosening tension in critical situations, it would be Mikey.

If it was a poll of who's the best at being a pain in the butt, it would be Raph.

I choose Leonardo because I love him and he's my favorite, but each of them are best in their own ways as Ryo said. And as a team, they're an unbeatable force.

OMG how can you pick and choose among the TMNT they are all so wonderful and charming and they all have such flamboyant personallities. I loved all the turtls in the classic toon.
But I have always loved Michaelangelo. he is just such a geniune character and he is sweet.

When I was younger I loved Leonardo as well and I still do but now that I have seasons one and two of the classic toon on dvd and I have rewatched these episodes, I have to say that Raphael is my second favorite turtle after Michaelangelo . I just love his sarcastic personallty and quips, I love what he added to the show, he was just too funny.

Overall, Leo. I'm aware that he's a pain in the butt in the old toon, but this is "of all time," man!

Only thing better than Leo is Leo and his bros!

*chuckles* Nah, he's OK. I just like him better in the new toon because he has more of a "leadership aura" instead of constantly saying "But Master Splinter said..." Sure, he does a bit of that even now, but he's cooler about it.

I must have liked him enough for him to be my favorite by the time the new toon appeared though, even if it was only for the blue and the swords. (I loved Mikey then too...as a 4-year-old I definitely appreciated his humor)

Ok, well how about a poll on which TMNT is the best hugger? Or how about best poker player? :P

Since we have so strong Raph's female fandom here, I think the answer who would win is pretty obvious.. :embarass:

Best poker player Mikey? Wouldnt you assume Don the best being as how he is the smartest. Poker is a thinking game. And Im sure Don could out smart all his brothers

In bridge - yes, Don would rock.


But poker is also the game of bluff. Something tells me Mikey would excel in bluffing. And cheating :)

OK, I change my mind. Raph wouldn't be that good although he would play and play and play till the last cent... Leo wouldn't play poker for long, as he probably despises poker with gambling, an activity not worthy for the true ninja he pretends to be.

And finally Splinter would confiscate all their decks for sure :lol:

Leo pretends to be a true ninja? Technicaly, all the TMNT are true ninja. And also, how does Leo pretend to be a true ninja? By your logic, it's like saying Tom Cruise pretends to be a true actor.

Also, Leo would not despise poker because it's gambling. I think Leo is quite comfortable with puting high stakes on the table as he puts his life on the line.

I can see clearly that the clash of my short range of English vocabulary (hint: I didn't mean by "true ninja" and "pretend" phrase what you've understood by it) with your extraordinary devotion to Leonardo has resulted in this shameful conflict. And yes - looking at my avatar can explain that Leo is not my fave one.

My father says poker's a game of pure luck, with no skill. :lol: Of course, this usually comes out when he’s down to his last stack.

I don't know if I'd want to play against any of them, since I imagine they'd all have pretty good poker faces. Beside, Raph would get so pissed at my strategy. :evilgrin:

Poker eh? *thinks* I agree that Leo wouldn't be that good. If he's anything like me, he's horrible at bluffing (like when I try and play BS *grin*).
Don would do OK with strategy, and he'd be better at bluffing than Leo, but not much. Also he might be distracted if he were planning some new cool project, working out everything in his head when he's supposed to be playing.
Raph would love poker and be pretty good at it. His poker face may not be the best because he has a hair-trigger temper, and if he got a bad hand...*grins* I also wouldn't want to be in the room when he loses.
Mikey would love the game and be incredibly good at bluffing and irritating others to the point of making mistakes. He'd only slip up when a good winning streak would make him careless, methinks.

And hugger? I dunno, they're all scaly and hard... Mike and Don I think are more sensitive, so they'd do OK. I really don't see Leo or Raph as the touchy-feely type of Turtle. Of course, I've never really thought of a turtle hugging anyone :tlol: so who knows?

Doesn't matter Ryo. :) "By "true ninja" I meant "perfect" or "the best one" as Leo's the one who's the most serious about his trainings. The game of cards would be a total waste for time for him, as instead of playing cards you can spend your time for trainings or self-development. And this is rather mature view, IMO, highly recommended, really.

Oh - and remember one scene from "Turtle Tracks", the one Ectocooler has in his signature? I reckon this shot explains well Leonardo's attitude to little gambling :D Otherwise he would try and play and not cut the table.

I have always like leonardo and I think he has and is awsome in every incarnation that he has been in. Classic Toon, New Toon, Live Action Movies, Comics. Leonardo rocks muchly.

And to be honest i didn't think leonardo was annoying in the classic toon. He was always very serious and dedicated and wanted to be as good as a student to master Splinter as he could be and that made him a tad pushy sometimes but he was just a very motivated turtle. I don't see much difference between classic toon Leonardo and new toon Leonardo.

The only thing that bugged me about classic toon Leonardo was sometimes he din't take into consideration that the other turtles had other interests other than training. Sometimes they wanted to go see a freakin' movie. At least New toon Leonardo seems a bit more tolerant of the fact that the turtles have indivdual agendas than him that they like to pursue.

What buggs me about new toon Leonardo is the fact that he is always with Splinter. Yeah I know he wants to be the best ninja there is but he is always with him. i mean seriously he spends more time with Splinter than his own brothers that are his age. i mean is that does any one elese think that is weird? I least in the classic toon Leonardo hung out more often with his bros and engaged in more activiaties with them than Splinter. I find that to be more natural.

Raph is the best. He always comes up with funny jokes in the old toon and in the films he is always the rebellious one, which is just awesome.

This is what I meant.

I dunno; when he's in the lair he's with Splinter (training), but he's out doing missions with his bros a lot of the time. And when he's out with them he doesn't constantly complain that Master Splinter wouldn't approve. Only occasionally. :tlol:

I voted for Donatello, he is the smartest turtle of all time and I love his bo staffs. My second favorite is Michelangelo because he is so funny and cool.
