Do you think that they will have some sort of special issue for issue 25 of volume four. Possibly some kind of reunion issue for the turtles? It seems to me the past few issues have been leading up to something and I think that thing is the rescue of Mikey. What do you guys think?

From the cover of 24, I would be guessing that Mikey will earn his own way out of lockup. The Reginta (sp) is there as he attacks, so I'm guessing that 25 will FINALLY go into detail about the book the Foot is mass producing. Did they even say yet why April can't even consider artificial semination?

April wasn't naturally concieved, therefore she's incapable of bearing children. Shadow is the closest thing she and Casey will ever have for a daughter.

I loved the donny robot. that was so cool. the exosuit i guess is what it should be called. and leonardo finding those scrolls. also really cool.

The plot points in issue 25:

Casey and Raph ambush the vampires.
(Casey is bitten! :o )

Mike tries to contact Seri.
(Poor Mike...hopefully he gets out)

Leonardo discovers mysterious papers amidst Splinter's things.
(ooh...mysterious...)

Shadow follows her friend Jay and uncovers a menace.
(Is this the alien dude from a couple issues back??)

What you're talking about is issue 24, not 25. 24 now has it's own topic and yes that's the alien dude from a couple of issues back.

NO! #25 isn't the current issue, #24 is! This was just a topic I made wondering whether anyone thought there was going to be any hype surrounding #25.

Oops...sorry... I uh missread it...thought it issue 24... *blinks* This is what i get for posting while Im tired :P

I knew that April was a drawing, I like everyone else here got issue 22 and I would like to say that it has nothing there saying anything about her not being able to artificially hold a baby. (In other words, I know that she does not have ovaries that produce eggs, I'm saying someone donate an egg and Casey uses his sperm and it is put in April for her to bare.) Yes, I know it's sick to think about, but it's just one of the many possiblities. My aunt and uncle considered it after she found out she couldn't have children. Now, I know that making her a drawing renders her unable to concieve the egg, but she also eats, drinks, sleeps and functions like a normal human, why can't they go this route?

Did anyone else think that we're almost to the halfway point to where Vol. 1 ended? Also, this is the longest running TMNT comic since Vol. 1 and the Archie series. Could this surpass the 63 issues that Vol 1 made it? I'm hoping so!

Shadow is assaulted in the woods. Leonardo uses Splinter's old scrolls to travel. Azokk helps Mike make an escape attempt. The police question Count Yorga, one of the "vampires" that attacked Raphael.

So we get to see the Battle Nexus in comic form!! :o

I'm not sure what I think of the Battle nexus coming into play in Vol 4....to me it says ole Petey's run dry on ideas. I liked that Battle Nexus but some of the Mirage adaptations were the better stories, that and other original to the show storylines. The Battle Nexus is a good plot point, but there are better.

I just stopped by the local shop. It's not out yet! :tcry:

I love, Love, LOVE that cover for 25. It's just has a certain touch to me that makes me love it so. If my GF can get here quick enough, I'm going to go to my local shop to see if it's in.

Yeah... he said it might not be out until January, which means that if he's showing the previews now, and they didn't come out this Wednesday, they'll come out next Wednesday, which is: JANUARY! (sorry... sarcasm runs in the family.)

Again, this just means that there are 4 great things about January: 3 Comics this month and one new DVD! Great way to start off '06 guys! By the way, I went to the comic store, but I didn't make it in time, they were closed. I'll have to go sometime later on, but I might not be up there for a while now.

I just checked Diamond's shipping list for 1/5/06 and neither #25 or Tales #18 are on there. What gives?

Maybe Laird is taking that 6-month break he was talking about?

Probably not. My guess is it's just been delayed another week. If it doesn't show up soon we can always e-mail Dan Berger or somebody at the website. He's usually really good with quick replies.

He wouldn't know when it's being released. He never seems to have that info. Hopefully it comes out the 12th? I'm very eager for this one. Last issue was so great, I want more!

Just FYI, issues should have been out this Thursday. I haven't called to confirm mine are in yet, but they should already be in. They were delayed until Thursday because of New Year's. I would recommend checking your stores now. I'm going Monday, so I'll let you know if no one else goes by then.

I went to my shop yesterday and there was nothing, and my shop always gets the book in on time.

It's still not on Diamond's shipping list, not even for the 12th. What gives?

According to www.diamondcomics.com both Tales #18 and TMNT #25 will be out this Wednesday the 11th! :D

I got the issue today. I love the way the cops talk to the gothic vamp. and i know spengs is going to love that part too.

Great issue! A lot happened and several interesting storylines were furthered. How sick was it when Azokk the Triceraton's face disintergrated?:trazz:

That now makes two Triceratons who gave their lives for the TMNT: Zog and Azokk. As Mikey said: "I guess all Triceratons aren't bad."

Yes, I get the feeling that Laird hates goths almost as much as I do. Which increase's Laird's coolness factor by a couple points.


The other TMNT didn't get much to do this issue, but I'm glad he dedicated more time to other stories. Feels like Mike's been in that jail forever.

In the letter page Laird said that the Battle Nexus won't be "EXACTLY" like it is in the cartoon, so I'm more interested than ever to see what his spin is going to be on it. If the cover to #26 is any indication, Leo won't be greeted as cheerfully as he was in the show.

Back on topic...this was a really great issue. The series has really put itself back on track with the last two issues IMHO.

I liked the issue as well...finally some stories are starting to come together...and I really liked Honeycutt in the issue as well...quite the fiesty one in this issue...

YES! Mikey is finally escaping from the prison cell. For a bi-monthly series, I would figure that the issues would be a little longer. You need a lot more than just 30+ pages to get more in-depth with each story that Laird is producing. I hate how each story gets about 4-5 pages per issue.

Leo is finally going to explore into Battle Nexus. I can't wait to see how the Battle Nexus will be in these comics.

And, before I continue any further... *applauds* I loved the vampire interrogation scene. LOL @ the vamp trying to use pull the "I'm a human" card to save his ass, and then getting owned by Professor Honeycutt. Heh... stupid goths.

Anyway, I hope Laird really utilizes his team a little better, he could make a longer issue.
