NO!!!!!!!!!!! I MISSED THIS DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Yeah, I missed it too. I'm kinda sick of TV anyway because there's never anything good on. I'd rather spend my time here on the computer or playing movies on DVD.
|
VH1's I love the 80's was well worth not leaving my hosue at night all week
|
I just checked TV guide and it's being reaired during new years twice... or maybe it's new stuff but just in case, everyone fire up your VCRs :)
|
i dont think it is really worth recording
|
It's already been encoded...in rm tho.
That is, if it's the cgi segments im talking about, which i think it is 'cause that's the only 'i love the '88' TMNT Segment i know of :ohwell: |
Exatly what is that, who encoded it, and who has it?

The reason people will call you a freak if you like the 80s is cause they'll think of any reason to call you different and annoy you. it's a common fact among people, if a person is in anyway different they are harassed. Stupid people, we are a horrible species, this planet is gonna be destroyed because of our stupidity.
|
Yes, Deathknight, you're right; I do go to a school of conformists...
The only person there they don't call a freak in front of is my Latin teacher. Dude, she always describes how she dressed back then: the "ankle warmers", the headbands, the whole Cyndi Lauper schmeer... |
The ep should bve on in 2 or 3 hours I think on VH1 today
|
Ok...i have never heard of this show before....maybe becuase i dont get VH1, but whatever. But anyways, i must get it :D ....who has it and where??
|
Did you hear what Judy Gold said about it?
"...and thank God it's over!" I literally laughed out loud right after hearing that.... She's in for a surprise once the new show premieres. And SHAME ON HER for putting us TMNT fans down like that!!!!!! EDIT: And what in the world were they doing using the 4th season footage, not to mention that they went one year too far for it? |
TMNT= Nsync, excuse me while I goudge my eyes out
|
I got such a kick out of that part where he says who each member of the group was based off of.
Oh, and I loved how the girl from The Cosby Show told the story of the TMNT (she didn't have all of the facts, but atleast she knew who they were) |

Ironically even though the turtles are fictional characters, they probably have about 10 times more personality than the flesh and blood NSYNC. :D Peace. :) |
I just watched the re-airing of "I Love the 80s: 1988" with the Ninja Turtles. And I must say, that was that coolest thing I've seen on TV in a long time. It was great to see the Turtles on television again.
Who cares that they got the clips mixed up? I don't - most were from 1990 or later, even though the Turtles are supposed to represent the 80s. I didn't like how each of the Turtles were compared with members of N'SYNC, however; two completely different entities which should never be mentioned in the same sentence. I also didn't like Judith Gold: "Thank God it's over"? What's that all about? Who is she to run down the greatest cartoon of all time? Who is she, period? But I very much enjoyed seeing the Turtles on television again. Leann Rimes singing the old theme song just had me rolling. "Totally righteous, dude!"- Michaelangelo, from "Raphael Meets His Match" |
I just saw "I love the 80's" for '88 too. It wasn't that good but hes right, its nice to see them on tv again. Some stupid guy was talking about how the turtles set the standards for nSYNC and said who was like who(I have no clue why). Cmon don't diss the turtles like that. And a lady was talking about how biga hit they were and all the action figures and how she was "glad it was over." Well don't be so sure :D

All I can say is that she made my Top 10 Bitch List with that remark.
|
This isn't TMNT-related, but to anybody who watched I Love The 80s all the way, was Nine Inch Nails mentioned in the 1989 segment? That's the year NIN debuted, and I just love it every time Trent is mentioned...
