Anyone ready for Metroid Prime: Hunters?
 

only 2 more weeks to go until the release of one of the big hits of this month..

Metroid Prime: hunters.. May not be as big as the release of kingdom hearts 2 or Elder Scrolls 4.. However this ds game has been in development for well over 2 years now. I been waiting for it. I have it preordered so when it comes out, I'll be getting it..

Who else is getting this game?

I may finally get my DS fixed just for the release of it.

Same here, not a big fan of Metroid 'Prime'. What ever happened to Metroid Dread; was it even real?

Had the game been released earlier I might have been excited but now it has fallen so far down on my list I'm not even really interested in it. It will probably be months before I pick up a copy of the game if I get one at all.

Seriously. I heart 2D Metroid.

Well, I'm looking forward to it. Single Player Metroid games are of the utmost pinnacle of gaming to me, and this one is like two games in one. The multiplayer will rule now that there is a "chump point" system in place. I love it.

Either way, to have Metroid Prime quality in my pocket, a strong single player, and a strong multiplayer? Gonna be a happy next week. Now excuse me, I'm going to hook up my NES and speed run the original Metroid to prepare.

I understand how some of you want a 2d metroid game. I want one too.

You can alwyas go get metroid zero mission or metroid fusion to feed your hunger of 2d metroid games.

There are some who have too many games they want besides metroid prime hunters. I understand. There are some bigs hits coming out this month..

Tetris ds, Kingdom hearts 2, elder scroll 4...

So uh pick whatver game you want and playthis when you can..

I have preordered this and I'll be picking it up a few days after.

I'm playing metroid prime 2 echos at the moment. i bought both metroid prime games on boxing day 2005 and haven't finished mp2..
I'm slow.

Metroid Prime 2 is a great game. Probably, in my opinion the best game on the GCN. If I had one complaint about Prime 2, I'd say it can be a bit too dificult at times, compared to Prime 1.

I think at this point, Hunters and Pinball will be the only Metroid games I don't own. But then, my girlfriend owns a DS so maybe I'll get them for the hell of it.

Metroid prime is my favorite metroid prime game but super metroid is the best of em all.

I want metroid prime pinball and there is a rumble pack included in mp pinball and some games already have the abilitty to use it.

Super princess peach has the ability to and now Metroid primehunters does..

How come you're not gettin' them?

'Cause It kind of upsets me that they aren't "real" Metroid games. I'd rather play Zero Mission more. But then again, Zero Mission is one of the greatest games EVAR.

I for one like Fusion a lot better.

I wish I could get the game, I'm totally broke so it'll be summer before I get it. I still haven't finished Metroid Prime 2 anyway so I can play that until I can afford Hunters:P

That is funny. However alot of people on this thread seems to dislike metroid fusion even me. I enjoy it as a metroid game but as the whole package it doesn't feel right to me becasue it lost the sense of exploration.. The computer tells u where to go next. In metroid games you have to go yourself.. Metroid prime had the hint thing but only if you had to use it. you could turn it off.

This is a preview of Metroid Prime Hunters. They talk about the single player and multiplayer as well as the video shows new stuff we never saw in the other videos plus a couple bosses that you will fight along side the hunters.

I'm staying clear of this game, 1 I suck at FPS games, and 2 everytime I played my friend "owned" me like no tommrow...It looks fun though but I'd get killed every 2 seconds ><

Anyways, I picked up Metroid prime hunters. It's intense.. Both single player and multiplayer is awesome..

i played 12 matches and lost 2 online.. the single player is good metroid stuff.

Well uhm.....I wasn't speaking quite so literally... Moreso it was just a statement on how excited people are about the game.

I mentioned Oblivion to validate my earlier post. The game just doesn't rank high on my priority list right now. I'm not flaming the game. I never really bash something until I try it but the point is I really don't have interest in it right now and don't see that changing for a while.

Edit: The original point of this thread was "Anyone ready for metriod hunters?" And peanut and I are simply answering "NO!" cause we got Oblivion.

I'm sorry dude, you seem like a knowledgable guy, but you really need to chill. You're the only one who's taking offense at everything. This boards are meant to be light and fun, and tons of topics go off-topic all the time. Peanut were merely stating how busy he is with another a game in order to play Metroid. He wasn't bashing the game, or flaming you guys. If he had, I'm sure ThirdMarioBros or whatever would have called him up about it.

And isn't playing a game that takes years to finish a good thing? I mean, you don't want to buy a game taht takes you a few hours to finish, then put it aside. You want some longevity in your games.

And to think we allow him to live in our country! It's outragous!

Anyways, it looks like a good game but I didnt really like metroids for the gamecube and the single player doesnt attract me, the only reason id get is to play with friends online, but I dont see myself getting it any time soon.

no I'm actually 24, I'm not the smartest guy int he world.. but finding a good job with good pay is hard in this world.. I work part time and I am busy paying off htis computer I have at the moment plus I am in a sport league and I pay rent.. So the 360 is way off my budget.. I'll get one when It's cheaper besides I dont touch my xbox 1 much anymore.. I'm not going to sell it due to the fact it's the crystal edition.
