So what did you get?

For Christmas? I got a new surround sound set up, an air hockey table, some DVD's, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for Gamecube, LoZ:LttP for my GBA, and a bunch of Toronto Maple Leafs stuff. It was a really good christmas this year! What did everyone else get?

I got a 12" Raphael figure, Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course (not really as good as I thought it'd be), a calender by one of those cool fantasy artists, and the January 2003 issue of Wizard magazine, complete with TMNT on the cover. Not much, but the younger sibs came first this Christmas. I'm doing my after-Christmas shopping for art supplies this weekend. *happy she's finally getting a good set of inking pens*

Aside from a bunch of (much-needed and much-appreciated) Kitchen stuff, and some clothes, I got some TERRIFIC TMNT stuff for my collection!!!

-A 30 piece (giant piece) floor puzzle of an image from the cartoon series
-A 300 piece jigsaw puzzle of the first movie poster
-Four issues of the TMNT Magazines
-And last, but certainly not least, A tmnt TAPE recorder with microphone, with a Rock and Roll Raphael on the front! It's in terrific condition, too!!! :D

As soon as I get my camera cooperating with me again, I'll get pictures of it all up on my website.

OH! I almost forgot the best part! I also got a video called BEHIND THE SHELLS -- it's a behind-the-scenes view into the first two movies! It's great! There's just something incredibly funny about watching a bunch of guys who are human from the waist up and turtles from the waist down dance around a movie set!

Hey, Michaelangelo, try hinting to your mom to check out e-bay. That's where my mom found all the stuff she gave me! :D :D :D They have hundreds and hundreds of TMNT related listings!!

I got:
"Clerks:Uncensored" DVD (YAY!)
$$$
$$$
More $$$ (Am I *that* hard to shop for, that everyone gave me cash?)
A Tenderheart Bear from my best friend

No TMNT stuff...though I did win a Leo plush the other day. Which I'm paying for with some of my Christmas money, so it kinda counts.

TMNT cookie cutters
TMNT 2 on DVD :)

MP3 player
Robotech for Gamecube
Tomy Bit Char-Gs
clothes
Tron on DVD
airbrush kit for models

other stuff...

my family is pretty poor, esp. since my dad's work injury, and they fired him, so now there is this big lawsuit blah blah blah =/

anyways, i got a big bebop doll (couple of feet tall, soft plastic) that my grandmother found in her hug garage of junk (shes a big-time yard-saler hehe), some new sheets from my other grandmother (they are really soft. not as gay as you'd think...), and from the parents i got a nice screwdriver/wratchet set, and i bought some plastic and we used a bender to make some awesome comic book display racks! now my turtle comics are for everyone to see =).

however, i bought myself a good bit of christmas with the money i made working during the summer =D. i got all the tmnt comics (mirage and image), just recieved the original action figures in the mail, got me a logitech wingman cordless gamepad (it rules!), a digital camera, and i might get me a scanner if the price is right ;-)

other stuff i got from family was a desk clip-on lamp, socks, socks, and more socks, one of my grandmothers paid to have my car worked on (yay!), and a crap load of food (double *chompchomp* yay!).

not to mention i pigged out for 3 days. so im a happy, fat, and full camper!

Nturtle, I got Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon. The last two I don't have (not counting Tintin in the Soviets and Tintin in the Congo, which I may get soon)

Sum 41 - Does This Look Infected?
Mest - What's The Dillio?
New CD Player
New Headphones
Spider-Man: The Movie DVD
LOTR: Fellowship Of The Rings DVD
Austin Powers DVD Gift Set (All 3 DVDs)
X-Men: Next Dimension
PS2 Mag

I really want some Ninja Turtles stuff..The last time I got something Ninja Turtle related was Christmas '92.

Awesome!! Great books!!! Especially Explorers on the Moon. I got Tintin in the Congo not long back, it maybe the most racist thing you'll ever read, but in a way those steriotypes ar funny

My mom would never buy anything from e-bay.

Ha-Ha, I mean too bad dude

WHAT I CAN REMEMBER

From my dad's house:

- Long sleeve Faded Glory shirt
- $25 Best Buy gift card
- $5 Best Buy gift card
- $10 Hollywood Video gift card (with a big bag of Doritos to boot)
- $5 Blockbuster Video gift card (whew! too many gift cards!)
- The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring book
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon mission pack (which I can't use, my dad doesn't know didly about computers)

From my house:

- Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure DVD (hey, I love that movie!)
- George Carlin desk calendar
- Mini model rocket starter set
- "Travel Kit For Him" (includes comb, nail clippers, nail file, and shoe horn)
- Black TMNT t-shirt (with logo and turtles under it)

From my mom's friend's house:

- Fancy looking waste basket (literally a BASKET!)
- This one's pretty cool: a handheld battery-powered keyboard vacuum cleaner! No computer geek like myself should be without one! Oh yeah, got some monitor cleaner to go with it...

Santa Claus and his helpers were very kind to me this year. I love film scores, so I got a bunch of CDs this year: The Green Mile, Chocolat, The Patriot, Signs, E.T., Fantasia, among others.

My sister, of all people, got me a green Ninja Turtles T-shirt! It just has the Ninja Turtles logo on the front. I haven't gotten something TMNT related in over 10 years, so that was a nice surprise!

I also got the Jurassic Park 4-disk DVD set, since I had been clamoring for that since the summer time.

So it was a good Christmas this year!

"It was nothing personal." - Krang, from "Get Shredder!"

$5!!! what possibly can u get for five dollars a best buy?!?!?! :-? :-? :-?

A little mouse pad

Maybe a pen if your lucky...

I didn't a whole lot, but that's okay.

From work:
A coffee mug with bookmark and a gingerman cookie cutter w/ recipe
A little Thomas Kinkade notebook
Paid for lunch
Isotoner house slippers
A White Elephant gift (it's a weird thing my dept likes to do - give away old stuff lying around the house)

From Family/Friends:
Moneeey!
A Compaq iPaq handheld pc (from hubby)
A little cook book
Two little 'Heros of Cybertron' figures (Megatron and OP)

...nothing TMNT though! :(

Heh! I'm suprised my mom hasn't set her home page to e-bay yet. :D

And for all who got TMNT shirts: Curse you! J/K.
I want a Turtle shirt badly, but the only ones I can find are in Men's sizes. :(
I guess my best bet is to wait until the new cartoon comes out, and hope they start putting images of the characters on lil' boys' size shirts...But it's still not the same...

Look above that one...I got a $20 dollar one too, so that totals to 25 bucks. I get a few cheap DVDs for that price (namely the 2 TMNT DVDs out now). Plus I'll be able to use the refund on that mission pack for some more stuff (DVDs, gotta love 'em!)

:P  :P  :P  Considering that many TMNT fans are in their late teens at the very youngest (like myself), that's probably about the only ones available. Are you saying even the smallest men's size is still too big for you? Tsk tsk....

Yeah, even those don't fit...I wear a medium in girls' juniors. Curse my feminine petiteness...

LOL! I have a Hot Topic TMNT t-shirt, but I don't where it often because it's not exactly a flattering fit. A straight-lined shirt on a rather curvy body just doesn't work well. I ended up ironing on a TMNT logo patch onto a halter top. And if I ever decide which image to use (probably get one from the new cartoon) I'm gonna silkscreen it on a babydoll style tank top.

Of course, I've still got a few shirts from 1990 (yes, that's the date on them!) that still fit me in a please-don't-wear-that-to-pick-up-your-sister-at-school kinda way. Although the movie one is still looks decent.

hmmmmm.....let see.....

from my parents I got:

-A horse :D
-a charm braclet
-money
-a fuzzy purple blanket

And from the rest of the family:

-clothes
-candy
-horse tack
-money
-CD's

It was really a lean Christmas for me this year considering the past years....the horse ment a LOT of cut backs on other things.

Nothing personal, but...UGH! The TMNT shirts I've seen at my local Hot Topic were only half-assed IMO. Gadzooks had the exact one I wanted, and I believe that's where my sister got it for me...

Well, I haven't too many good MENS TMNT shirts at Hot Topic...

I know. It was a cartoon style t-shirt, green, with a picture of the guys on skateboards with the caption "Radical". I still like it because it's TMNT, you know. If there were more cool stores in my area, or I had the ability to buy online, I'd have the cooler shirts, but I can't.

I saw this really cool hooded pullover in a catalog, Old Glory I think it was. Black, with the cartoon logo on the front and shells on the elbows. $50. Right, I bet I could make that for like $5, easy.

http://www.gadzooks.com/gallery/images/0101_0929.jpg

That's the shirt I got...pretty rad, IMO.

:sweatdro:
....you got a horse. and all that other stuff.... and that was a LEAN christmas?..... :teek: wow.

Oh... I know your pain! I'm petite too, so I don't like the regular Tee they have. I prefer baby tees, cause they fit me better. But the bunch of TMNT shirts they made were baby tees. After that, it was the regular shirts. Mhh...

*stops* *notices what Tiger Powers got*

Grr... now I'm really envious! My parents never got me a horse. j/k :P  What breed and color is it? :D

You got a horse? Wicked cool...
My grandmother used to own horses...who knows, maybe she still does. Last time I talked to her was over a year ago, when she told me that comics was a dead, no money business, and that I should have different career dreams. :sweatdro: This was right after she refered to my step-mom as a Mexican and asked if all that she fed us was black beans and tacos. (My step-mummy's *Cuban*, and no, we eat americano food alot.)
Needless to say, I was not too pleased...
