Trivia Script

I almost finished writing the trivia script that will display the questions from radixvir's irc trivia bot (see this topic). Since the script is not completely finished, I need anyone who is interested to test it out. The script is now multiple choice, and the questions will be given one at a time, with the last page having the final results. Thanks to Shredder for editing the final trivia questions, making up all of the other choices in those questions, and making up the ten questions and answers that are being used for testing the script right now.

Here is the URL to the script:
http://test.technodrome.com/trivia/trivia.php

If you have any questions or comments, or if you find any bugs in the script, post them here.

Krang 02-11-2002 02:20 AM

*Bump* Just wanted to make sure everyone sees this topic.

RaphRockz 02-11-2002 03:24 PM

azure turtle 02-11-2002 03:44 PM

Ohh, this is fun. I'll make sure to complete the whole thing once I'm done with mid-terms

Ah, you speak with such wisdom! Were you once a disciple of Master Splinter?? Hopefully, my rewards will be great, and I'll get to join the party in full swing later on this week!

Machias Banshee 02-11-2002 03:53 PM

I'm Splinter in the RPG, and i play his student in real life! Yes, I'm a hardcore Splinter fan.

Sounds good, look forward to having you join our mindless ramblings!

azure turtle 02-11-2002 10:59 PM

A hardcore Splinter fan? Coolamundo, dudette! I'd like to get into that ongoing RPG, but I couldn't keep up with all the strange happenings.
:???:
Oh well. And yup, mindless rambling is one of the nicer things in life

Yeah, I got overwhelmed by the conspiracies, so Splinter's keeping a low profile until things calm down a bit.

radixvir 02-14-2002 07:26 AM

cool krang we've got like ~215 in the newest trivia txt so if you are up to it, i can send that along

Krang 03-07-2002 01:35 AM

*Bump* The script will probably be put up soon. Radixvir, if you have any questions that you haven't sent yet, send them to Shredder (who's in charge of editing the file to work with my script).

HorseTechie 03-07-2002 10:42 AM

Ooh... it's a fun lil thing!

But since I don't watch the cartoons much, I barely squeaked by with a 40%. *sai*

Machias Banshee 03-07-2002 03:01 PM

I got 100%! *does the 'wasting my saturday mornings of my youth paid off after all' dance*

No, he's just contributing the trivia questions from his IRC bot so that we can use them on The Technodrome.

SPEEd 03-10-2002 09:49 AM

Ok. Just wondering

Deskjet Shredder 03-10-2002 12:29 PM

A cool test, Warlord Krang!
Well, I've got 80%... I know almost everything about the TMNT cartoons, but nothing about the movies - none of the three was shown in Russia.

azure turtle 03-10-2002 02:50 PM

That's terrible, Deskjet! Is there anyway you can import the movies? You should really see them! IMHO, the first two were very good, and the third was okay. It could've been better.

maybe you can ask "grandfather frost" to buy you some for christmas

SeaThreePeeO 03-10-2002 03:01 PM

Really good! I tried it and got two wrong. Not bad considering I have seen the cartoon for 11 years now.

azure turtle 03-10-2002 10:17 PM

I got 70%. Not too shabby, I think. Good work, Krang and almighty rad one!

Kali 03-10-2002 10:19 PM

I got 90% my first time around. I hope they can get more questions up.

Krang 03-11-2002 01:59 AM

More questions are coming soon, over 200 of them!

azure turtle 03-11-2002 02:03 AM

*bounces in excitement*
That's awesome! I can't wait!

Well, I suppose "Grandfather Frost" doesn't have them either
However, if a movie appears in the USA, it is usually shown in Russia much later. You know, they need time to purchase it, to translate it etc. I hope the TMNT movies will be available on video cassettes in Russia in a few years. By the way, can they be found on videotapes in the US or they were only shown on TV?

azure turtle 03-11-2002 04:08 PM

All three movies can be found on videotapes. They're most likely out of circulation, so you're best bet would be a website like e-bay. Hope that helps

Ratking 03-16-2002 05:35 AM

i think somebody should just set something up as there are so many ppl here asking about TMNT eps. I would help as i have said 85 times before except i use PAL format.
