What do you think about Serling?
 

There's something about Serling that I really like. He looks cool, and his first words on screen were "Come with me if you want to live." He just seems like an all around great character. I'm glad he doesn't have the computerized robot voice. The voice he has is better than a computerized voice, and his voice seems to work out good for him.

EDIT: I painted his pupils in though with a thin micron. Doesn't look exactly right otherwise.

I hate him, he's annoying, and homosexual.

He's ok.

At least he's better than Constable Biggles. If one character needed a gruesome death in this show, it would be him.

I hate him also he's my least favorite character but spitfire you seem to not have a problem talking to me so knock off the constant gay bashing it's getting on my nerves honestly.:roll:

I like him as much as I liked Geoffrey in The Fresh Prince. Take that any way you like. I'm hesitant to commit to a decision though. He was kinda cool in "Future Shellshock", but he was a big whiner in "Obsolete". So, I'm torn for now.

It's true I don't, sorry to offend you. I have no problemw ith homosexuals just annoying when they make a robot like that. Robots aren't supposed to have feelings or personality...it's annoying that he does. And the only word I could use to describe that personality is homosexual.

So far, I hate him. Alot... but hey, that's how he's suppose to be. Annoying. I was soooo happy when he got his eye knocked off...

And yeah spitefire, what's up with all the gay thing ? Never seen ya like that before... True Serling sucks, but c'mon, you're 18 now, at least act like it. Instead of saying that its gay like a 12 years old, say that you would so create a pain detector, integrate it to Serling, tie him down to a table and slowly slice him apart with a plasma cutter ! Now that's the spirit !

But although I hate Serling, he's nothing compared to the cancer that is Biggles... Man do I hate that friggin robot. I wish Raph could accidently destroy him with extreme violence !

I like him, I think hes pretty cool, more interesting then cody. I almost bought the figure today.

he is mildly amusing and border line annoying. I'll have to watch a few more episodes with him in it.

Meh... Sterling comes off as a stereotypical anal retentive British butler. I like him to some extent, and I also admit I kinda hate him. I think the Constible is alright, but I sure hope he's a temp character.

He comes off like some kinda clone of Marvin the Paranoid Android of Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy (at least the Movie and the TV show), just no where near as likable. He seems like he could be funny, but just seems annoying. I kinda hope Raph goes on a rampage and stabs him.

SO, I'm on the fence about this one. May get the toy if I grow to like him.

He irritates me. I think it's ridiculous that 4Kids thinks that cultural stereotyping is better for kids that character depth.

As I said over on Toonzone, I like Serling. Sure, I like most things robotic, but he seems especially nifty for some reason. It's probably the sarcasm.

And nobody in this thread even bothered to mention the whole spy angle. I don't think Serling knows that Darius is using him like that, at least it didn't seem that way to me. If he was aware of it, I think he would've been a little more insistent on having his eye repaired at the end of 'Obsolete'.

I got the impression that Serling was unaware of the spy camera in his eye. I wouldn't expect him as being a dirty character on Darius's side. However if he is in cahoots with Darius and this friendly butler facade is just an act on his part. I might have to like him for that.

Nah, it's just a heated issue. Things will cool off soon eough, I'm sure :)

To answer this thread's question, I HATE Serling. Anyone who acts pretentious and snobby annoys all hell out of me. I hate when human females do it, I can't see myself making an exception for efiminite robots.
