Who is your favorite Turtle?
 

I just searched for a "Favorite Turtle" thread, and I saw that there hasn't been one since 2004. What kind of fansite doens't have an active favorite TMNT thread?

It's simple; everybody's got a favorite, so I figured it'd be a good poll. Vote for your favorite turtle. In general, movies, comics, whatever, who is overall your favorite turtle. Add your favorite quote and/or picture, and an explanation to keep the thread interesting. :)

I'd vote for Raphael, because he's got a lot of angst that drives him. He likes movies, and is a smart-elic, even when his back is against the wall.

Michaelangelo. In most incarnations I've adored him, but classic version all the way!!

I liked him as a kid and it just never changed but I really like him in the movies because he has a cool personality in them plus i liked the way he looked.

Leonardo does seem to have a cool and steady hand that becomes a Ninja, but I find his 'tude a bit lacking. Like he's perhaps a bit too straight-edged for the rest of his team, which may in fact make him a less effective leader?

Don hands down, he always seemed like the 2nd focus. In the old toon and in thr Archie comics he really shined. Plus he's an intresting character. He has alota inner demons you can tell.

Just make this a sticky, so that this will be the only thread about this. It will forever be there, waiting for someone to come and give his 2 cents :)

Ok, so who is my favorite. You already see it. And the reasons changed since I was kid. At first, he was wearing blue and had swords... and was the leader.

Now, he is the best ninja of the four, he is me when I was a teen, he now have a personality and a presence that the other don't have, not even raph..

So yeah, he is, and will forever be my favorite.

I like Leonardo because he is blue.

Likewise here, Raphael has always been my favourite turtle. I'm a big fan of comedy, and he's the comedian/joker of the pack, but Rob Paulsen really does add something more to the character. A likeable voice is important, not only the lines!!!

Donnie. Smart, calm, witty, and has the longest weapon of the four (wink, wink).

Venus doesn't count. She's not a ninja; she's a kunoichi, and kunoichis are make-believe. They exist only to make possible gratuitous sex scenes in Japanese samurai flicks, and for people like me to fantasize about! Duh! ;)

Well I use to be a huge Leo fan (oh wait I still am I guess.....heh....) But after watching some of the old toon again I would have to say that Raph is probably the best.

I've always like Michaelangelo. Ever since I was a kid. I never wanted all the ninja turtle toys and merchandise, only the ones that had Michaelangelo on it.

I like the representations of the turtles personalities in the classic toon. The only thing that bothered me about old toon Leonardo was the fact that at times he seemed really insecure about his leading abilites. Which is actaully a good thing in terms of character depth, but when I was a kid it sort of bothered me. In the new incarnation of him Leonardo seems to be more centered, which is why I think he is my favorite representation of him.

Michaelangelo is falling behind! This is a sick sad situation :sick: I don't get it. Michaelangelo used to be one of the most popular turtles in the classic toon. What the heck happened? :ohwell:

Actually, I'm pretty surprised that it's a balanced as it is, I didn't think many people would have so much love for Don, really. I'm surprised, and glad at the same time :-)

Raphael and Leonardo are the most millitant of the four and have the whole agnyst this going for them, which I think the fans eat up.

What I never understood, was why Donatello doesn't get more spot light in the mirage comics, since he is rumoured to be Peter Lairds favorite turtle? :ohwell:

The Second Turtle I like/love is actually Donatello,That I think he should is get in the spot too.He is also cool even tho he loves doing science,making invention,I think he is cool becauce he are very smart,Can figure out problems. I have always liked donatello in secret cuz I don't to leave raph behind my back,But honestly my turtles are Raph and donnie and Donny is hottest

Raphael! I love the tempermental ones ( they are the most challenging and difficult personalities to get along with, but you never would get board!) And he has the ultra cool red colored bandana, great jokes an wisecracks, and he can master one of the more difficult weapons, in that he has to be closer to his opponents to inflict damage compared to the katanas and bo staffs. Mikey's though, his weapon is highly difficult, and sadly banned in many countries. Wonder why?:ohwell:

my favorite was Raphael back in the day,

nowadays it depends, in the new Toon i don't like raph as much, but even in the old toon I now appreciate Donatello and Mikey a lot more, so i dont really have one anymore,

The blue bandana,his personality and behavior.....not forgetting his Katanas.
